Background / History

Lin Fei was a Martial Soul Academy student who initially received little recognition despite his potential. He appeared undernourished and came across as being from a poor background, but his admission to the academy itself demonstrated sufficient talent. His academic performance was also among the academy’s best. 259 320 339

Yu Xiaogang recruited him into the Martial Soul Academy Second Team because the Guiyi Gloves made him an ideal recipient for the extreme attribute buffs accumulated by Xu Xiaoxing, Jiang Lanlan, and the other support members. At the time of joining, Lin Fei was a level 31 Power Attack System Battle Spirit Master. 259 260

In the team’s first internal mock battle, Lin Fei served as the four-person side’s primary attacker against Yu Xiaogang. After his teammates stacked attributes and buffs on him, he used the Guiyi Gloves to redistribute those attributes and tested his second soul skill against Little Dragon. Little Dragon ultimately overwhelmed him and captured him in an energy net. 261 262 263

While competing in Soul Battles across different cities, Lin Fei deliberately confronted his fear of performing before crowds rather than hiding behind a mask.
