| Occupation/Role | The event in which a person manifests a Martial Soul and has their Innate Soul Power tested 4 12. |

Process and Outcomes
- Awakening reveals the person’s Martial Soul; a subsequent test establishes their Innate Soul Power level 4 12.
- A child may awaken a Martial Soul different from their family’s inherited one. Among Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan children, recorded results include a Thunder Lizard, Lightning Python, Thunder Fire Ape, and Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon 4.
- A Martial Soul can undergo a malignant mutation. In the original world, Yu Xiaogang awakened Luo Sanpao with half a level of Innate Soul Power; his parallel-world counterpart awakened the piglet-like Little Dragon with level-one Innate Soul Power 2 12 14.
- Awakening is regarded as a dividing line: the results can sharply change how children are treated, even within the same clan 4 7.
Cultivation Before Awakening
Parallel-world Yu Xiaogang began physical training and meditation before awakening. After roughly six months, his Innate Soul Power measured level one; the Heavenly Screen contrasts this with his original-world result of half a level 10 12 13. The revelation prompts the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect to begin training its unawakened children and gathering cultivation resources 13.
Secondary Awakening
Little Dragon initially manifested as an independently thinking External Beast Martial Soul, but Yu Xiaogang could not use the Martial Soul Avatar ability normally available to Beast Martial Soul Masters 14 201. After Little Dragon received Crimson Blood Amber and Yu Xiaogang reached level forty, it underwent what he identified as its true awakening. He could then merge with Little Dragon through Martial Soul Avatar 182 200 201.
Yu Xiaogang’s original-world counterpart interprets this as evidence that his own Luo Sanpao may also have failed to awaken fully, but no second awakening for Luo Sanpao is documented here 201.
