Aurelia is Wen Tai’s adopted daughter. The Greek public’s affection for him transferred to her, giving her exceptional popularity and eventually helping secure her selection as a Saintess. She reached that position despite never accepting a Goddess’s guidance or attending the Hall Mother’s classes 210.

Wen Tai left her several important treasures before his apparent death. She initially believed that Yi Zhisha had betrayed him by casting the black stone that condemned him; this belief later became a major reason for her pursuit of the Goddess position 50 423 424.

She also obtains Black Soul Grass by presenting it as a decorative curiosity rather than revealing its value 50 57.

Her confidence does not prevent her from recognizing mistakes. After the Arctic journey nearly kills her, she acknowledges that her preparations were inadequate, offers to take the first watch, and refrains from pressing Chen Lang about his private abilities. During the Ancient Capital crisis, she refuses to escape without him 56 136.

With Chen Lang, she is teasing, affectionate, and sensitive to being treated as secondary to Mu Ningxue. Arctic Expedition and Sin City

Aurelia recruits Chen Lang for a secret training journey, offering access to a resource that can advance Shadow magic at High-level and below. They rendezvous in Longyearbyen before heading toward the Arctic Ice Sheet. Her preparations fail against an unexpectedly large beast horde, forcing her to rely on Chen Lang as her temporary Dark Power runs out 50 51 52.

After escaping and recuperating, they enter Sin City in concealing robes. Aurelia trades healing medicines for Black Magic resources and obtains Black Soul Grass under the pretext of using it as decoration. She then teaches Chen Lang its cultivation method, helping him reach High-level Shadow magic while her own cultivation reaches the third Intermediate tier 56 57.

Ancient Capital Reunion

Aurelia travels to the Ancient Capital on undisclosed business and reunites with Chen Lang at the south gate. Their flirtation develops into an openly romantic relationship. As the undead crisis worsens, she refuses his offer to send her away alone and insists on accompanying him 126 127 129 136.

Saintess Selection and Tournament

After an unsuccessful attempt to approach the Black Dragon Emperor, Aurelia returns for the Saintess trials. She is selected alongside Ander, Penny Jia, and Ye Xin Xia, although she initially says she has never sought the Goddess position 207 210.

She joins Greece’s tournament team to test Mu Ningxue rather than pursue the championship reward. Mo Fan and Mu Ningxue must combine their efforts against her; Aurelia eventually concedes and returns to her Saintess duties 215.

Parthenon Conspiracy

When Mo Fan suspects her of benefiting from Penny Jia’s death, Aurelia acknowledges her political advantage but denies involvement. Chen Lang accepts her denial 227.

She subsequently confronts Mei Ruola, learns of the conspiracy surrounding the other Saintesses, and attacks the awakening Yi Zhisha. Chen Lang rescues her from pursuit and helps her reconnect with her people. Aurelia then accompanies him into the Dark Judgment barrier and replenishes Mo Fan’s Magic Power 234 235.

Goddess Candidacy and Withdrawal

Aurelia later becomes a serious Goddess contender. Chen Lang’s public reunion with her alarms Ye Xin Xia’s faction, whose supporters recognize how decisively his backing could alter the election 421 422.

In private, Chen Lang explains that Wen Tai’s apparent death was not simply Yi Zhisha’s betrayal. The revelation overturns Aurelia’s longstanding motive for revenge. She decides that the Goddess position would cost her the freedom she wants, withdraws from the competition, and leaves Athens with Chen Lang 424 425 426 427.

Later Cultivation and Finale

When Chen Lang prepares for Antarctica, Aurelia wants to accompany him but accepts that the extreme cold would make her a burden. He instead promises to send her to the Dark Plane for cultivation 428.

She later accompanies him into Khufu’s Underworld, where she observes his growing strength and warns him not to underestimate Khufu. After their return, Chen Lang gives her the Dark Origin. A year later, she and Mu Ningxue have advanced beyond the Forbidden Curse, but their combined strongest attacks still fail to defeat him in a spar above the sea near Fei Niao City 447 452.
