Suguru Geto closed his eyes, but all he could see were the Star Religious Group's ugly faces.

He didn't know what was wrong with him.

Ever since the Star Plasma Vessel Incident, he'd felt lost for no reason.

The convictions he'd once held so firmly now seemed full of holes.

"Phew..."

Suguru Geto let out a long breath, patted his cheeks with both hands, and stopped letting his thoughts run wild.

"No matter what the right path is, strength is the best tool for putting your ideals into practice!"

Suguru Geto's gaze grew firm again as Cursed Energy began to surge within him.

He could clearly sense a special threshold. If he reached it, his Cursed Technique would ascend once more to a higher plane.

That was the legendary Domain Expansion—a miniature world constructed from one's innate Cursed Technique!

Jujutsu Sorcerers capable of such a feat had all left their mark on history.

Suguru Geto naturally had the same competitive spirit.

"Cursed Energy, Cursed Spirits, domains..."

These words flashed through his mind, and in an instant, Cursed Energy burst forth from within him.

Suguru Geto abruptly opened his eyes, and his hands naturally formed a seal.

His index, middle, and ring fingers crossed and folded inward; his thumbs and little fingers came together and pointed upward. This was the Mahamayuri Vidyaraja seal, also known as the Peacock Wisdom King seal.

Gojo Satoru, who had been grinning stupidly with delight, suddenly felt a massive surge of Cursed Energy.

When he teleported to Suguru Geto's place, he immediately saw the conspicuous, enormous black sphere.

His mood soured at once!

He hadn't even gotten the chance to show off in front of Suguru Geto!

Inside the domain, Cursed Spirits continually emerged from the black-water-like ground.

Some were Cursed Spirits Suguru Geto had exorcised and absorbed, while others were Cursed Spirits he'd encountered before but never captured.

Yet, through imagination alone, Suguru Geto could easily reproduce them within his domain.

Then the black water beneath Suguru Geto surged upward, lifting him into the air before forming a lofty throne.

Suguru Geto sat calmly upon it, looking down at the densely packed Cursed Spirits below like their king.

"So my domain's technique lets me create Cursed Spirits without using any Cursed Energy, and I can make them infinitely? And these Cursed Spirits can be considered parts of my body!"

Suguru Geto explored his domain's abilities with interest.

Creating Cursed Spirits endlessly without consuming Cursed Energy was already an impressive effect.

But being able to treat these Cursed Spirits as parts of his body gave the ability tremendous potential.

Suguru Geto could clearly feel that the Cursed Spirits he controlled with Cursed Spirit Manipulation were like obedient pets he was directing. They were independent entities.

But the Cursed Spirits inside his domain now were like his fingers. Their brains were even like extra memory attached to his own.

As he considered the many ways he could use this ability, Gojo Satoru's voice suddenly sounded from outside the domain.

"Geto! Can you hear me?"

"Satoru?"

Suguru Geto's lips curled up. He had to show off a little in front of him, didn't he?

He immediately dispelled the domain and smiled as he waved Gojo Satoru over.

"Hey, Satoru. What brings you here? I was practicing my Domain Expansion, so sorry I couldn't welcome you properly!"

Suguru Geto deliberately put extra emphasis on the words "Domain Expansion."

Gojo Satoru's face twitched. "What are you so smug about? I've known how to do it for ages!"

"Huh? Then show me."

"I just used it. My Cursed Technique is currently burned out."

"If you can't do it, just admit it. I won't laugh at you~"

Suguru Geto shrugged, making the veins on Gojo Satoru's forehead bulge.

"Damn it! Just you wait! Tomorrow! Once I've cooled down, I'll use my domain and scare the hell out of you!"

Cursed Technique burnout was a special condition that occurred after a domain was dispelled. Jujutsu Sorcerers couldn't use their innate Cursed Techniques during this period, much like an engine overheating and needing to cool down.

(They couldn't use their innate Cursed Techniques, but they could still use Cursed Energy and Reverse Cursed Technique. Shoko was an exception, since her innate Cursed Technique was Reverse Cursed Technique. It was unusual, and she couldn't use Domain Expansion, either.)

In the original story, when Gojo Satoru fought Sukuna, he burned out his brain and then restored it with Reverse Cursed Technique. It was like swapping in a new engine, letting him exploit a bug to refresh the cooldown.

But Gojo Satoru clearly wasn't that crazy yet.

So, like other Jujutsu Sorcerers and Cursed Spirits, he could only use Domain Expansion once a day.

Faced with Gojo Satoru's challenge, Suguru Geto naturally agreed without hesitation.

From Gojo Satoru's attitude, Suguru Geto knew he must have figured out Domain Expansion too. He wasn't just bluffing to save face.

In that case, Suguru Geto wanted to find out whose domain was stronger!

When Gojo Satoru stepped outside Suguru Geto's place, he ran into Riko Amanai.

"Hey, Riko!"

Riko Amanai told Gojo Satoru what Toji Fushiguro had said.

"Ten Shadows Technique?"

Gojo Satoru's expression turned complicated for a moment.

Riko Amanai was puzzled. "What's wrong? Is that Cursed Technique really strong?"

"Yeah, it's definitely strong... But that's not the issue."

Gojo Satoru struggled to hold back his laughter.

The Zenin Clan really had awful luck. They'd ostracized Toji for having no Cursed Energy, only for him to turn out to be a ridiculously powerful Sorcerer Killer with Heavenly Restriction.

Through a series of blunders, they'd driven away a powerhouse who could've become the backbone of their family, and rejected a Ten Shadows Technique heir along with him.

They'd been dealt a great hand and played it terribly.

"Think they'll ever dare ostracize someone with Heavenly Restriction again?"

Gojo Satoru got Toji's phone number and decided to properly nurture this Ten Shadows Technique heir.

Just not yet, of course. Gojo Satoru was still a student himself. He'd have to wait until Megumi Fushiguro finished middle school.

For now, he'd reserve a spot for him at Jujutsu High.

The next day.

Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto stood facing each other, their eyes brimming with fighting spirit.

The next moment, they formed their hand seals at the same time.

"Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void!"

In an instant, the two domains began to collide and stalemate, like wrestlers locked in a contest of strength.

Gojo Satoru took off his sunglasses, revealing his azure eyes. "Geto, my domain's technique controls the mind. It forcibly floods the target with a massive amount of useless information, making their brain freeze up."

Revealing one's technique could release a Jujutsu Sorcerer's power from its restrictions, strengthening the technique.

Suguru Geto raised an eyebrow. "That sounds like a very unusual and powerful technique."

"Of course. Take this!"

Before Suguru Geto could make a move, Gojo Satoru immediately launched his technique at him.

(In the original story, Gojo Satoru's domain technique was passive. Anyone who entered Unlimited Void, friend or foe, would be hit by it, except for Gojo Satoru himself and anyone physically touching him. That's why Gojo Satoru had to carry Yuji the first time he fought the volcano-headed Cursed Spirit, and why, during the Shibuya Incident, opening his domain for 0.2 seconds left hundreds of innocent bystanders briefly catatonic.)

(But!!! I've changed the setting here. Gojo Satoru's domain technique is now activated deliberately, and he can choose who to attack. Consider it a small buff. I'll change a few other things later, too. Anyway, jjxx leaves his own plot holes unfilled—he's just a manga artist, what does he know about Jujutsu Kaisen?)

(Lastly, I should add something about Suguru Geto's Domain Expansion. I personally think Womb Profusion belongs to Kenjaku rather than Geto. Womb Profusion draws on the two great worlds of Esoteric Buddhism—the Womb Realm and the Diamond Realm—while Brain's name comes from the khakkhara rope of Acala, a Buddhist deity. Its shape resembles a lotus-shaped wish-fulfilling jewel. Both details are so closely tied to Buddhism that it's hard not to connect them.)
