Ever since the Star Plasma Vessel incident, an inexplicable sense of aimlessness had settled in his heart.

Then, the black water beneath Geto's feet abruptly surged upward, lifting him high into the air and forming a lofty throne.

Geto sat calmly on the throne, gazing down at the dense sea of cursed spirits below, like a king of curses.

"The domain technique doesn't consume any cursed energy—I can create cursed spirits infinitely? And these spirits can be considered part of my body?"

Geto explored his domain's abilities with keen interest.

Creating cursed spirits infinitely without consuming cursed energy was already an impressive effect.

But the fact that these spirits could be treated as part of his body—that opened up enormous possibilities.

Geto could clearly feel that the spirits he controlled with Cursed Spirit Manipulation were like obedient pets he commanded—two separate entities.

Technique burnout is a special condition that occurs after a domain is dispelled, rendering a sorcerer unable to use their innate technique—similar to an engine overheating and needing to cool down.

(They can't use their innate technique, but they can still use cursed energy and Reverse Cursed Technique. Shoko is an exception; her innate technique is Reverse Cursed Technique, which is special, and she also can't use Domain Expansion.)

In the original story, when Gojo fought Sukuna, he burned his own brain and restored it with Reverse Cursed Technique—essentially swapping out the engine—successfully exploiting a bug to reset the cooldown.

But right now, Gojo clearly isn't that crazy yet.

So, like other sorcerers and curses, he can only use Domain Expansion once per day.

That's why, when he first fought Jogo, Gojo had to carry Itadori, and during the Shibuya Incident, Gojo activated a 0.2-second domain, leaving hundreds of innocent bystanders temporarily brain-dead.)

Womb Profusion is derived from the two great worlds of Buddhist esotericism—the Womb Realm and the Diamond Realm. Meanwhile, Kenjaku's name comes from the weapon of the Wisdom King Acala in esotericism, shaped like a lotus ruyi scepter. Both settings are closely tied to Buddhism—it's hard not to connect them.)
