Background / History
The Jujutsu higher-ups regard Gojo as a necessary countermeasure against Sukuna and move to release him after the Culling Game barrier is destroyed. He subsequently emerges from his confinement with his usual flippant attitude and immediately faces Sukuna. 15 17
After Chen Tian defeats Sukuna, Gojo is left to manage the aftermath. He grows from an initially tense, teasing acquaintance of Chen Tian into a trusted ally: he repays Chen Tian by rebuilding his home and providing an unlimited black card, while Chen Tian agrees to deal with curse-related threats affecting his life. 20 23
Gojo joins the Hero Association operation as a representative of the Curse World. His battles against Monster Association executives expose the limits of his Cursed Energy reserves and Infinity, particularly against Platinum Sperm; Chen Tian ultimately saves him. 56 70 71
Defeats by Chen Tian, Esdeath, and Milim force Gojo to confront his complacency. He seeks Chen Tian's help, travels to Rimuru's world for training, develops precise output control under Ramiris, and awakens the Unique Skill ∞ Eyes. 166 167 169 171
Appearance
Gojo is a lean, white-haired man with striking blue Six Eyes. He commonly conceals them with a black blindfold or small round sunglasses, though he removes the covering when fighting seriously. 51 52 180 183
- White, often disheveled hair. 17 170
- Azure-blue Six Eyes; after awakening ∞ Eyes, a purple glint appears at their centers. 52 181
- Usually wears black clothing, a blindfold, or round sunglasses. 51 180
- His battle-damaged clothing reveals a lean physique during the fight against Straga. 183
Personality
Gojo is theatrical, mischievous, and habitually provocative. He teases allies and opponents alike, makes exaggerated complaints, and treats dangerous situations with a disarming casualness. 20 56 181 His humor can turn crude or shameless, especially when teasing Tatsumaki or trying to ingratiate himself with Chen Tian's father. 181 184
Behind the clownish manner, he is protective of his students and takes threats to civilians seriously. He sends his students to the Tokyo Dome safe zone rather than let them face high-level Demons alone, and he personally remains behind to hold the line. 180
Gojo is highly prideful and enjoys strong opponents, but repeated defeats force him to acknowledge his shortcomings. Rather than deny them, he seeks training, endures Ramiris's harsh regimen, and commits himself to serious improvement. 166 167 170
Abilities & Skills
Six Eyes / ∞ Eyes
Gojo's Six Eyes allow him to perceive Cursed Energy and analyze opponents at exceptional speed, including Melzargard's regenerative glass-bead cores. 59
- Before awakening ∞ Eyes, the Six Eyes greatly improve his Cursed Energy efficiency and recovery, but cannot fully compensate for sustained extreme expenditure. 70
- ∞ Eyes provides 360-degree perception, precise output control, and infinite Cursed Energy. 171
- Even with infinite Cursed Energy, prolonged high-intensity combat can still leave him mentally exhausted. 183
Infinity / Infinite Technique
Gojo creates a spatial defense that prevents attacks from reaching him, described as an insurmountable barrier by Black Sperm's clones. 69
- Maintains his defense while tracking large numbers of enemies through the Six Eyes. 69
- Platinum Sperm breaks through the original Infinity Technique, exposing its dependence on Gojo's Cursed Energy reserves. 70
- Milim and Esdeath demonstrate that sufficiently extreme power or freezing effects can bypass or neutralize Infinity. 166 169
- Following the awakening of ∞ Eyes, Infinity evolves into the Infinite Technique. 171
Blue, Crimson, and Gravity Manipulation
Gojo uses Blue for attraction and gravity-based manipulation, while Crimson is the positive, repulsive counterpart of his technique. 59 171
- Uses Blue for teleport-like movement and high-speed combat. 52
- Crushed Melzargard by collapsing its body with gravity, then identified and targeted its regenerative cores. 59
- Developed Blue · Gravitational Collapse, a gravity-based attack with a black core. 68
- Developed Gravity Field, a refined barrier that halts and restrains targets within its range. 181
- His Blue and Crimson output was initially imprecise, requiring Ramiris's training magic circles to correct. 170
Domain Expansion: Infinite Void
Gojo's Domain Expansion overwhelms targets with an infinite torrent of information, immobilizing their consciousness. 21 70
- Overpowers Wan's Triple Suffering and helps expel her from Tsumiki Fushiguro's body. 21
- Freezes Black Sperm's clones before Gojo sweeps the battlefield with Hollow Purple. 70
- Has no effect on Milim after she protects both her spiritual and physical body with magic. 169
Hollow Purple
A destructive purplish-red energy attack used after activating Infinite Void. 52 70
- Used to erase large numbers of Black Sperm clones across the battlefield. 70
- Rimuru identifies its slow preparation time as a combat weakness. 170
Close-Quarters Combat
Gojo combines high-speed movement, Blue, Crimson, and physical strikes in close combat. 52 166
- Claims to be the “ceiling” of close combat before sparring with Esdeath. 166
- Uses Black Flash in his clash with Esdeath. 166
- Can fight at close range while using Infinity and his spatial techniques defensively. 69 70

- Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki — his students. He trains, teases, and protects them, sending them to safety during the Demon crisis. 51 91 180

- Tsumiki Fushiguro — Gojo helps rescue her after Wan possesses her body. 21
- Esdeath — sparring rival whose victory over him prompts Gojo to reassess his complacency. 166
- Rimuru — analyst and ally who evaluates Gojo's weaknesses, arranges his training, and facilitates the awakening ritual for ∞ Eyes. 168 170 171
- Ramiris — strict training instructor who forces Gojo to master his Cursed Energy output. 170 171
- Milim Nava — a powerful sparring opponent who breaks through Infinity and demonstrates that Gojo is not the strongest in every world. 169
- Saitama — fellow combatant and occasional source of embarrassment; Saitama’s casual strength continues to unsettle Gojo even after his power-up. 181
- Tatsumaki — combative ally and mutual teaser. She mocks his defeat by Platinum Sperm, while Gojo deliberately provokes her. 181 182
