Background

Tang Liuli is the daughter of a Great Xia-born sculptor and Ai Huasi, a Glorian painter. Her parents met while traveling abroad; her mother later became a renowned sculptor, while her father was a talented but financially struggling artist. 80

She entered entertainment as a child and became nationally famous for playing Daliana in Magical Girl Daliana. Her acting depended heavily on natural empathy: by sensing and inhabiting a character's emotions, she could enter [Flow State] and produce exceptional performances. Repeated use raised her emotional threshold, however, leaving her increasingly dependent on the ability. 17 80

As her career advanced, her mother began treating Liuli less as a daughter than as a work to be refined.
