King Yun Chu established the Seven Mysteries Sect to govern Yun Prefecture's martial world after relying on Yang Yizhi's methods to suppress criminal forces. The Divine Might Camp was founded alongside it as Yun Chu's other major force. 30 170

Backed by King Yun Chu's heavy troops and its feared constables, the sect maintained an uncommon degree of peace in Yun Prefecture. Its power discouraged local sects, aristocratic families, bandits, and wanted criminals from openly provoking it. 30 55

By the Wulong Ridge incident, the sect was short-handed and Beyond Heaven had become deeply entrenched in Yunzhou. Sheng Wubing later meets Meng Qingshan at a post station, teaches him the Bone-Piercing Nail technique, and gifts him a Famous Constable Token and the Brocade Cloud Saber. 26 27 55

Wulong Ridge and Beyond Heaven

Cui Weishen leads Seven Mysteries Sect personnel to Wulong Ridge in pursuit of the Blood Ganoderma, using stationed agents and a falcon messenger to gather intelligence. 113

After confirming Meng Qingshan killed Beyond Heaven's Morning Star Lord, Cui Weishen declines to escalate the case because the sect lacks manpower and Beyond Heaven's Yunzhou network is too entrenched. 121

Meng Qingshan's Blade Man Appointment

Cui Weishen offers Meng Qingshan a Blade Man recommendation after recognizing that his strength would be wasted in an ordinary constable role. Meng accepts, gaining freedom to operate between the sect and the Jianghu. 128
