The stars were densely scattered, each one reflecting some wondrous cosmic phenomenon.
Right in front of Chen Yu and Gray Wind, Xidra was simulating and presenting the terrifying scene of the "Hunter" devouring a galaxy.
Even though it was only a simple simulation, the sense of urgency—so immersive that it felt as if they were standing before the "Hunter"—was no less real.
Even a terrifying entity spanning more than twenty light-years could only appear in the simulation as a gigantic super-light source.
Standing before the simulated "Hunter," Chen Yu and Gray Wind seemed as tiny as dust in a river.
"The threat posed by the 'Hunter' lies in the fact that they seem capable of suddenly descending upon the galaxy where all the Federation's civilizations reside in a manner our civilization cannot defend against..." Xidra said lightly.
"The instant the 'Hunter' descends, every civilization in the entire galaxy will collapse and be devoured in an extremely short time."
"And the only two ways we can avoid their threat are... to hide as much as possible and avoid attracting their attention."
"The second is to closely observe the 'Hunter's' movements, predict their patterns of action in advance, and then make appropriate evasive maneuvers."
"Based on a preliminary assessment of the current situation, the specific reason the 'Hunter' devours galaxies may be to plunder matter and energy..."
"Because, without exception, the locations in the Known Universe where the 'Hunter' are suspected to have appeared are all nodes with relatively high galaxy density."

Xidra's judgment was not without reason.
What surprised Chen Yu even more was that the Star Array Intelligence algorithm Xidra possessed could simulate the "Hunter's" form for such a long time.
It even seemed capable of carrying out a certain degree of fine deconstruction of the "Hunter" within the simulation.
However, the results obtained from this deconstruction were merely false, indeterminate variables.
But that was astonishing enough.
After all, they had previously used thirteen Thousand Year Stars and the Federation's highest-level dimensional technology to perform calculations, attempting to analyze the "Hunter" and obtain useful data for intelligence analysis, yet they had gained nothing.
Xidra, however, had managed to break through that barrier. It was practically a miracle.

This lead and breakthrough in technological sophistication was precisely what the Federation urgently needed.
Xidra continued her detailed analysis with great confidence:

Xidra looked toward Chen Yu and Gray Wind, analyzing sharply:
"On your timeline, in another universe, the Federation also encountered the so-called 'Presolin Zerg,' but the 'Hunter' never came knocking..."
"These two points are enough to prove an obvious causal relationship: the galaxy in which the 'Presolin Zerg' appear has an extremely high probability of being targeted by the 'Hunter.'"

"The Federation captured a 'Zerg Queen' in another universe, didn't it?" Xidra blinked and looked at Chen Yu.
Chen Yu smiled knowingly and nodded noncommittally before saying:
"The 'Zerg Queen' could continuously produce Zerg fleets for the Federation and had rendered the Federation tremendous service in the past."
"However, according to the latest observation data from the Scientific Research Department..."
"After arriving in this universe, the 'Zerg Queen' under the Federation's control entered some kind of dormant state for unknown reasons and could not be awakened."
"Moreover, the Zerg fleet the 'Zerg Queen' previously produced for the Federation also collectively perished after arriving in this universe, again for unknown reasons. We don't know whether this has any direct connection with the 'Hunter.'"
"The 'Zerg Queen' is currently confined within a special Stasis Field... Ever since the threat of the 'Hunter' emerged, the Federation's Scientific Research Department has repeatedly studied it, but with little success."
Xidra looked through the Scientific Research Department's research data, then declared confidently:
"Leave this task to me. I will definitely give the Federation a satisfactory answer."
Chen Yu naturally agreed.
However, given how powerful Xidra's functions were, assigning her only these minor tasks seemed completely unable to bring out her full potential.
Thus, Chen Yu directly handed the entire Federation Scientific Research Department, along with the Federation's Department of Resources, over to Xidra.

Gray Wind watched Xidra display such a dashing and capable side, then awkwardly scratched her head.

If Gray Wind were made emperor of a civilization and tasked with planning every aspect of it, she would be equally capable of handling the job perfectly.
As for Xidra, she seemed to be something of an all-rounder. She excelled at everything and could accomplish everything to perfection.
Xidra could handle every aspect of the work flawlessly.
This difference could not really prove much.
But Gray Wind faintly sensed some kind of threat approaching.
