Xiao Wu arrives in Suotuo City with Tang San, experiencing a major human city for the first time and reacting with open curiosity to its activity. Ye Xingchen immediately recognizes her as a Hundred Thousand Year Humanoid Soul Beast, while she senses an unsettling familiarity from him and suspects that he has seen through her disguise. 24

After secretly observing Ye Xingchen, Xiao Wu is pursued and immobilized by his Gravity Domain. He openly identifies her as a Soul Beast despite possessing only two Soul Rings, leaving her alarmed and unable to determine his true identity. 26

Her relationship with Tang San deteriorates as her feelings shift toward Ye Xingchen. She rejects Tang San’s jealousy, insisting that they are brother and sister and that he should accept her choice to love another person. 33 38

During the Star Dou Great Forest expedition, Xiao Wu displays a strong attachment to Soul Beasts and the forest that raised her. Tang San’s insults toward Soul Beasts enrage her, while Ye Xingchen comforts her by affirming that humans and Soul Beasts are both living beings. 43 44
