Background / History

Dai Mubai first confronts Ye Xingchen, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing at an inn, declaring the area to be his turf and attempting to force the two women away from Ye Xingchen. He is defeated after Ye Xingchen's Heavenly Emperor Cauldron repels his attacks and suppresses his White Tiger Martial Soul. Dai ultimately apologizes, acknowledges Ye Xingchen as the strongest peer he has met, and asks to become friends. 25

At Shrek Academy, Dai serves as an admissions guide and uses his strength to deter applicants demanding the return of their registration fees. He escorts Tang San, Xiao Wu, Ye Xingchen, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing through the academy's first tests. 26 27
