Background / History

Huoyao identifies herself as a being born from the union of soul beasts and the Douluo plane's will. Her stated mission is to drive out the invaders controlling the God Realm, safeguard both humans and soul beasts, and lead the continent toward prosperity. She opposes the system that forces soul masters to hunt soul beasts and the Heavenly Emperor's Family for soul rings. 3

In her previous life, Huoyao devised a way to reform soul master cultivation so humans and soul beasts could coexist. The plan failed before it could be implemented: the soul beast race was slaughtered, surviving members of the Heavenly Emperor's Family were enslaved, and Huoyao failed the Dragon King, who died saving her from the God of Asura. 3

In the present, Huoyao uses the Daily Record to reveal past-life truths, attract allies, and influence events around her. Her records lead Ben Ruoqing and others to recognize her earlier sacrifices and support her goal of overthrowing the God Realm's order. 13 14
