Background / History

In her previous life, Guo Muyan sought to save the Soul Beasts and the Heavenly Emperor’s Family from the God Realm. Huoyao had promised to aid that cause and eventually accept her feelings, but failed; Guo Muyan died saving Huoyao from the Asura God. 3

After being reborn, she learns through Huoyao’s diary that Huoyao once intended to change the Soul Beasts’ fate. Though initially skeptical, she begins to regard Huoyao as a possible ally against the God Realm after seeing the diary’s accounts of the Soul Beasts’ future destruction. 4 5

The diary also grants her access to a Points Mall containing cultivation increases, tribulation talismans, recovery pills, and divine-position fragments. Her greatest immediate interest is the Nine-Turn Great Recovery Pill: healing her injuries would restore peak first-level-god strength and potentially allow her to contend with a God King. 4
