Background

Mi Ruoxi was a Shrek Academy student and one of the women able to receive Lin Chen’s Diary. Her first reaction to the Diary was indignation: while Zhu Zhuqing received comments on her appearance, Mi Ruoxi learned that she supposedly had “not even a single line” in the future and resolved to find the Diary’s owner for an explanation. 4

The Diary’s predictions convinced her that Lin Chen knew both her identity and future. After Zhu Zhuqing discovered that Mi Ruoxi was also a Diary holder, the two openly shared their secret and concluded that Lin Chen—then absorbing a ten-thousand-year fourth soul ring—was the Diary’s owner. 9
