Anse glanced at his mana. At over fifteen hundred points, it could be converted into more than seven hundred health—effectively a second life.

In theory, his body no longer had any fatal weak points.

Even if his head exploded, he could repair it in an instant. It would simply cost more Hexfire.

As long as Hexfire burned, his life would endure!

"Was this what demigod power was like?"

Every single trait seemed absurdly powerful to him.

His Hexfire Awakening was merely a little unusual, not unique.

Other Primordial Dragons all had lifesaving abilities similar to Blessing of the Platinum. Not only could they recover health when near death, they could also recharge their Breath Weapon and restore all expended uses of Legendary Resistance.

Anse's Hexfire Awakening had flexibility on its side. It was no weaker than those Primordial Dragons' abilities.

Besides Hexfire Awakening, Extraordinary Essence was another defining trait of demigod power.

This was true agelessness and immortality—eternal youth!

In that respect, Anse surpassed Primordial Dragons.

Primordial Dragons were said to be only "nearly immortal." They still had a limited lifespan unless they possessed divinity.

"Shapeshifting" was a minor ability derived from a True Dragon's ascension. It let him freely take the form of any Medium or smaller creature at no cost.

Many Dragons used that ability to fool around with other creatures, producing all sorts of mixed Dragon bloodlines.

Mana Burning and Hexfire Breath were mythic abilities unique to demigods. Almost every demigod had different ones.

Mana Burning was rather insidious. By exploiting Hexfire's nature, Anse could ignite the Extraordinary Energy inside an enemy. It was not limited to mana or Spell Slots; any energy based on mana qualified.

As a mythic ability, it had a broad range of applications and was harder to resist than Mana
