Little Harold moved quickly, contacting the Horley Federation's senators at once to discuss sending troops.

The Federation had been developing rapidly lately. Populations across its regions had surged, drawing outstanding talent from every continent.

Supported by vast wealth and population, the Alliance's strength in every aspect had expanded rapidly, especially its military. Its standing forces had exceeded one hundred thousand. Baldur's Gate, the capital, had the most troops, numbering over ten thousand, along with the reorganized Flaming Fist and underground corps.

Next came Neverwinter and Claw Bay, both of which also had over ten thousand troops stationed there.

Neverwinter's north had already been occupied by Orcs. The two sides had occasional clashes, and there were too few troops to keep watch over the area otherwise.

Claw Bay bordered the Emerald Kingdom, so the danger was limited. Its main issue was its vast territory, numerous port cities, and naval fleet.

Durag, White Stone Island, Brarr Rock City, Pharos City, Twin Cities, and other places were relatively stable, with only several thousand soldiers stationed there, mainly to maintain local order. Though most of these soldiers were recruits, they were well equipped. Their officers had mostly received short-term military training through the Spirit Network, giving them quite respectable combat ability. Little Harold's request to borrow troops was approved immediately. The first batch consisted of twenty thousand men, transported to Krynn Tianyu through the Spirit Network at the Federation's expense.

In truth, the Federation did not have that many Spirit Coins either. It could only apply to the seemingly omnipotent assistant to the chairman, who provided whatever was requested.

But that assistant never gave out Spirit Coins, only the necessary Spirit Network services.
