"Aren't you a prince too?" Anse asked curiously.

"My branch of the family is about to split off anyway. Besides, I'm used to drifting around. I have no office or authority, and no one would care if I died." Lucian looked utterly indifferent.

But only he knew whether he truly cared.

"Oh. What about them?" Anse pointed at the others.

"They're retired soldiers and freelance crew members I hired through friends, not active military personnel. The imperial fleet won't concern itself with them," Lucian explained.

"Who originally owned this warship?"

"This is Lumina's personal ship. Every Crystal Warship is precious. I'm not qualified to buy one."

"Even a legendary Solar Mage can't own his own warship?"

"An ordinary spellship, yes. Crystal Warships aren't available on the open market." Lucian shook his head slightly. "For these warships, it's not about wealth, but noble status and your position in the empire."

"Does the Solar Mark also have a tracking function?" Anse guessed.

"Yes." Lucian looked at Anse with some curiosity. "Wiggins said he was taking the Crystal Guardship away. Why did he change his mind?"

"I didn't agree."

"Huh? Didn't he offer enough money?"

"I didn't like his attitude when he spoke to me."

Lucian fell silent for a moment. "What if he tries to take the warship by force?"

"Then I'll kill them and take the big one too," Anse said as though it were perfectly natural.

"Are you serious?"

"What do you think?"

The cockpit was eerily silent. The gunners exchanged looks, even their breathing slowing.

Anse piloted the ship straight to the Mind Flayer base, guiding the warship into the underground warehouse and parking beside several Nautiloid Ships.

He simply left the two Night Spiders parked outside.

The base had a gravity plane, making them difficult to tow.
