Worried Itachi

After watching the footage near the Konoha Barrier, Youhu did not stop; instead, he began to review other recordings.

After half an hour of diligent searching, this vague figure appeared at the Hero Cemetery, on Konoha Street, and on the outskirts of Naka Shrine.

In the footage from the outskirts of Naka Shrine, one could even vaguely discern the figure's Three Tomoe Sharingan.

At this, Itachi finally understood why the person felt familiar. He had seen this individual during his time as a Genin—an Uchiha who lived outside of Konoha, a mysterious ninja who possessed a Mangekyo.

Itachi suspected that he was the mastermind behind the Nine-Tails Night, but he had no evidence.

Itachi was unsure of the vague figure's specific identity, but Youhu knew it very well.

The only ninja capable of entering and leaving Konoha at that time while mastering space-time ninjutsu was the successor of Uchiha Madara, the culprit behind the Nine-Tails Night: Uchiha Obito.

Ever since the Fourth Hokage sacrificed himself for love, there had been no other ninja in Konoha capable of threatening Obito.

Obito treated Konoha like his own backyard, dropping by from time to time. While paying his respects to Rin, he was also scouting for new members for the Akatsuki.

And Uchiha Itachi was the one Obito had chosen.

After finishing all the relevant footage, Youhu spoke first: "Itachi, who do you think he is? Why would he have our Uchiha Sharingan? And why would he appear outside the shrine?"

Itachi fell into silence. He did not know how to answer, as he knew nothing about this.

Just as Itachi was about to say something, Youhu proactively downloaded the footage, saved it onto a video tape, and headed toward the door.

"This matter is of great importance. We must notify Captain Kakashi immediately."

This action left Itachi stunned; he had no intention of reporting this matter.

At such a critical juncture, the appearance of an Uchiha who possessed space-time abilities was undoubtedly plucking at the sensitive nerve between the clan and the village.

The village would become even more wary of the clan because of this, and the clan would, in turn, develop unnecessary delusions.

This kind of matter should be handled privately.

However, even though Youhu had made his choice, Itachi would not bring up deleting the footage again. He was not confident he could persuade this inscrutable clan brother.

Before long, Youhu found Kakashi and Yamato.

Upon seeing the masked man in the video, Kakashi and Yamato's expressions turned solemn.

They had originally wanted to enjoy the pleasure of slacking off at work, but the appearance of the Mysterious Masked Man made them realize that they would definitely have to work overtime today.

However, they were somewhat surprised that Youhu and Itachi were willing to share this intelligence with them.

After all, the Mysterious Masked Man's Sharingan was staring directly at the Uchiha Clan.

"Do you know him?" Kakashi asked Youhu and Itachi.

"I don't know him..."

Youhu shook his head lightly, pointing the spearhead toward the Nine-Tails Night:

Itachi was speechless, but Youhu had at least cleared his father of suspicion, while also throwing the responsibility for the Nine-Tails Night onto this Mysterious Masked Man.

Yamato turned a deaf ear, silently browsing his Icha Icha Paradise magazine.

During the Nine-Tails Night, he was just an experiment subject at Orochimaru's base. This matter had nothing to do with him; if anything, his existence was meant for dealing with Jinchuriki and Tailed Beasts.

However, why did Youhu think this person was the culprit behind the Nine-Tails Night?

Before Kakashi could continue thinking, Youhu asked:

"Captain Kakashi, what should we do next? Should we go directly to capture him?"

Youhu looked eager to try, then added: "As long as we can catch him, we can wash away the stigma of the Uchiha."

"Youhu, do you think the few of us can defeat this Masked Man?"

Kakashi glanced at Youhu, thinking he was being too naive. He wasn't clear on the Masked Man's strength, but he understood the power of Space-Time Ninjutsu.

The last ninja in the village to possess Space-Time Ninjutsu was his teacher, the Fourth Hokage.

In other words, Youhu was asking their squad to confront an opponent at the Hokage level.

"How would we know if we don't try? I think if the few of us join forces, it shouldn't be difficult to defeat one Masked Man. If he really had the strength to be invincible in the ninja world, he wouldn't need to hide his face."

Youhu had finally told the truth.

But ninjas often prefer to listen to lies.

"Absolutely not..." Kakashi rejected Youhu's proposal and stated his thoughts: "This matter must be reported to the Hokage immediately."

"Yamato, you stay here. Youhu and Itachi, come with me to the Hokage Building."
