Kakashi and Itachi watched as Jiraiya walked toward Youhu.
They watched Youhu give Jiraiya a gift, then watched Jiraiya accept it and pat Youhu on the shoulder. The two of them wore the classic smiles of villains, looking downright sinister.
The sight made Itachi feel as if the sky had fallen.
Jiraiya was one of the respected Sannin. How could he accept a gift from Youhu so shamelessly? And the gift was a precious metal, no less—gold bars.
