A level 3 ordinary ship's speed just barely meets the requirements for the next disaster. A Silly Bird probably doesn't have a profession yet, or else chose not to develop their ship toward a profession path—the ship has the most basic appearance. A special profession's ship would look distinctly different.

In the screenshot, the level 3 two-masted sailing ship was clearly several times larger than a level 2 small sailboat, with a double-deck cabin that looked like it could hold forty or fifty people without issue.

Invincible and Handsome: "Upgrading to a level 3 ship takes fifty iron ore. Where did you get that much iron ore?"

Invincible and Handsome had originally assumed Ling Chu would be the first to upgrade to a level 3 ship—after all, she was the one on the server with the most iron ore, and she kept her source of iron ore hidden and secret. He never expected the first to upgrade to a level 3 ship would be this A Silly Bird.

It seemed Ling Chu's strength wasn't all that impressive either. She'd probably just gotten lucky, picked up a ton of iron ore, and killed a few people.

A Silly Bird: "Yesterday when I was fishing, my hook suddenly snagged on something. No matter how hard I pulled, I couldn't get it loose. I had to dive in to see what was going on, and then I found a sunken ship at the bottom of the sea. The ship's warehouse happened to have fifty iron ore in it."

Seeing A Silly Bird's explanation, Ling Chu couldn't help but twitch the corner of her mouth.

This person's luck was definitely extremely high—maybe even higher than hers during Double Luck.

Speaking of Double Luck, Ling Chu suddenly remembered she seemed to have forgotten something.

The full armor set included a helmet, chestplate, pants, arm guards, and leg guards—five pieces total. The surface was smooth and hard; you really couldn't tell it was made from crab shells.

This armor would reduce speed. Ling Chu didn't like heavy, clunky armor; she preferred light leather armor for ease of movement. She probably wouldn't wear it herself, but she could give it to Titch.

National Server Little Luban: "Big shot, there's this too. See if you need it?"

The system's auto-repair took two hours. Upgrading ships in the future would probably take even longer, so this thing was convenient.

"I need it. How much?"

"I have some."

Ling Chu traded him a basket of blueberries and a catty of mangoes as processing fees, and also promised to give him twenty iron ore in three days as payment for the bullets.

Making bullets required gunpowder. The main ingredients for gunpowder were charcoal and sulfur. Charcoal wasn't expensive—it could be made by burning wood. Sulfur was harder to get and rarer; only a small stock was available at the Trading Post. That was only because not many people had guns yet, so the price of sulfur hadn't been driven up yet. Otherwise, it would be much more expensive.

Only Ling Chu, with her massive iron ore stockpile, could afford to buy bullets by the hundred. Otherwise, even if an ordinary player had a gun, they might not be able to afford the ammo.

"Enough, enough, big shot. I'll get to work right away."

National Server Little Luban looked at the pile of fresh fruit before him and felt a surge of energy.

Ling Chu had given him a bit more than the market price, mainly because she appreciated his skill. The dagger made from this ice crystal ore would likely last her a long time, and she hoped he would put his heart into crafting it well.

The grooming kit had no brand or label on it, looking a bit like a no-name product.

Still, it was better than nothing. Out at sea, exposed to wind and sun day after day, Ling Chu felt her skin had roughened a bit. She wasn't overly concerned with her appearance, but she couldn't neglect her face either.

While she slept, the Automatic Fishing Net had harvested 25 Wood, 34 Seagrass, 15 Wood, and 1 Glass, all stored in the ship's warehouse by Titch. The Automatic Fishing Platform had caught two Opium Fish—since it was nighttime, Ling Chu was worried the platform might hook something it shouldn't, so she had Titch wait until dawn to bait and cast the line.

This type of Opium Fish, Ling Chu had often eaten before her transmigration. The flesh was tender and had few bones.

With a grand wave of her hand, Ling Chu decided this would be her lunch.

She had the system automatically fillet the Opium Fish into two plump pieces, lit charcoal in the Grill, laid the fillets on the rack, and sprinkled on some seasoning.

Under the clear sunlight, Ling Chu unhurriedly flipped the fish fillets while using an Island Locator Card.
