Chains Suppress

As soon as he finished speaking, the frozen seawater beneath Salos's feet rumbled and trembled. Ring after ring of water walls rose across the nearshore waters, trapping the Ten-Thousand-Bone Giant tightly within.

Pale blue divine patterns spread swiftly through the surging seawater, transforming into several crystalline water chains that crisscrossed and coiled around the giant, binding its massive skeletal body fast.

The giant let out a shrill roar that shook the entire sea. Netherworld miasma churned within its hollow skull as its thick bone arms flailed madly, hammering at the chains around it. Its enormous bone legs kicked desperately against the seafloor, churning up towering muddy waves.

Yet the more violently it struggled, the tighter the seawater chains constricted. They bit deep into the pale gaps between its bones, leaking wisps of black mist. The giant could not break free in the slightest.

Layers of seawater surged over it, slowly submerging the giant's arms, torso, and skull.

With one final muffled rumble from beneath the sea, the surface sealed shut completely, imprisoning this calamity monster that had ravaged the waters back within the abyssal seafloor.

The sea returned to calm.

Onshore, the survivors remained speechless for a long while.

Edmund stared blankly, his face flushed with excitement. Trembling, he shouted, "It's the Sea God! The Sea God has appeared! The Sea God saved our Hope Island!"

National Server Little Luban blinked blankly beside him, still dazed as he murmured uncertainly, "The Sea God? Is this person really the Sea God?"

Though he had watched the other man raise a hand and force the Ten-Thousand-Bone Giant back into the deep sea, this man looked far too different from the Sea God he had imagined.
