The Rinnegan Target, Part Two

"It's finally going to be over." When Obito Uchiha saw Sakura make up her mind and stop hesitating, the trace of worry in his heart finally eased.

Obito let out a long sigh and slowly closed his eyes. For some reason, a figure suddenly came to mind, gradually taking shape in his thoughts.

"Rin..." Obito parted his lips slightly and softly uttered the name.

Even at the very last moment, he still couldn't let go. He couldn't forget that Kakashi had once pierced Rin's heart with the Lightning Blade.

Just then, a hand reached out. Smack!

After waiting a long while and seeing no sign of Sakura, Obito opened his eyes in confusion, only to find someone standing in front of him.

It was none other than Uchiha Chen. Standing before Obito with a smile, Chen reached out and caught the kunai Sakura had thrust at him.

With Uchiha Chen blocking her, Sakura couldn't even touch a hair on Obito's head, let alone pierce his Rinnegan.

Seeing this, Obito's heart hardened. "You're making me do this!"

Obito's gaze turned icy. He shakily raised one hand. "All this for one eye? Then I'll destroy it!" he roared, suddenly thrusting his hand toward his own eye, clearly intent on blinding himself.

Under Uchiha Chen's pressure, Black Zetsu, who was controlling Obito's body, had become much more restrained. At least Obito could still manage some basic movements.

Seeing that Sakura could no longer help him, Obito steeled himself and decided to act on his own. No matter what, he couldn't let Uchiha Madara or Uchiha Chen get this eye.
