Background / History

Kaguya was an ancient outsider who brought Chakra to the Ninja World. After obtaining the world, she treated it as a tool; her sons eventually sealed her on the Moon. Her past betrayal by a human Daimyo, her sons, and later descendants left her deeply distrustful of men and resentful of her family. 205 233 241

Her seal was broken through the Divine Tree after Qinglong arranged the Limited Tsukuyomi plan. She emerged through Madara's transformed body, restoring her horned Ōtsutsuki form. 236 239 241

Upon returning, Kaguya summoned the remaining White Zetsu army and attempted to reclaim the Chakra of Naruto and Sasuke, whom she regarded as Chakra inherited from her sons.
