Background / History

Tang Yue grew up with Tang Miao and helped raise him. She later tutored him in magic before he entered high school in the Magic Capital, then left on an assignment in Bo City 1 4.

While investigating the Black Vatican near Bo City, she and other Judgment Society members were ambushed. Tang Miao reached them during the demon invasion and rescued her and Qiu Yu. Tang Yue subsequently identified the captured Bai Yang as a Black Vatican member and instructed the group to take him to the safe zone 24 25 26.

Her Judgment Society work continued to take her away on missions. She was later transferred to Nanxi Mountain as a Vice Judge, where Tang Miao visited her after a long separation 104 435.

Tang Yue has an oval face, captivating eyes, a high nose bridge, red lips, and fair skin 27 53.

Personality

Tang Yue is protective of Tang Miao but willing to confront him. She warns him against dangerous trips and reckless fights, questions his behavior when she suspects he is hiding something, and scolds him for provoking powerful families 28 53 123 701.

She is also direct about their relationship. At a gathering with Tang Miao’s other partners, she asks him to introduce her and tells the others plainly where they stand, while making clear that her patience has limits 697.

Abilities & Skills

Fire Magic

• Specializes in Fire Magic and uses Sparrow Flame; its strength helped her survive a direct Fierce Fist attack in Bo City 3 25.
• Can conjure fire in her hand and, after reaching Forbidden Spell level, form it into a whip 4 892.

Plant Magic

• Her third element is Plant. She does not have the Summoning Element, preventing her from contracting Flame Ji as Tang Miao had hoped 68.

Investigation and Teaching

Relationships

• Totem Mystic Snake — A totem protected by Tang Yue and fellow guardians; she helps Tang Miao understand its possible connection to his jade pendant 6.
• Qiu Yu — Judgment Society teammate who fought alongside her during the Bo City ambush 24 25.
• Mu Ningxue — Tang Miao’s partner and the person managing the Tang Clan while Tang Yue was away. Tang Yue is initially upset by the arrangement but later recognizes Mu Ningxue’s work for the clan 436 686 688.
