Background

Bai Yuan transmigrated to the Douluo Continent with a System and initially sought a disciple to establish a cultivation academy capable of defeating Shrek Academy in the All-Continent Soul Master Tournament. His attempt to recruit Tang San ended in humiliation and expulsion from Nuoding Academy. Soon afterward, the System led him to a sentient lotus, whom he transformed and named Bai Yu. 1 2

The System rewards Bai Yuan for recruiting and binding disciples. Bound disciples share their cultivation progress with him, while quests grant Master Virtue Points, techniques, and professional advancement. Bai Yu became his first bound disciple and the foundation of his growth. 2
