Jiang Yue had no intention of testing him bit by bit. Instead, he straightforwardly held up a Cloud Shield Talisman, then took out a Tiger Form Intent Talisman, a Fire Charm, and several others.
As the other man watched Jiang Yue take out one spirit talisman after another, his expression grew increasingly complicated.
"Friend, there's no need to be surprised. Like you, I'm opposed to the Bizarre Tree. I have to say, though, I'm impressed by the commotion you've caused."
Hearing Jiang Yue say this, the other man remained doubtful. "Save your smooth talk. What proof do you have?"
"What proof do you need?" Jiang Yue asked calmly.
The man was stumped.
After a moment's thought, he stared at the spirit talismans in Jiang Yue's hand and asked in a low voice, "Where did you get those talismans?"
Jiang Yue chuckled. "I was just about to ask you the same thing."
"I asked first," the man said coldly.
"These talismans came from the Jiang family in Star City." Jiang Yue decided to be frank.
At that, the man's eyes shifted, his expression turning complicated as he scrutinized Jiang Yue. But Jiang Yue was currently disguised as an agent of the Bizarre Tree, and his appearance, voice, and mannerisms all belonged to that agent.
No matter how the man looked at him, he couldn't make anything of it.
He simply asked, "What ties do you have to the Jiang family in Star City?"
Jiang Yue smiled. "Of course I
