The release of this strategy left Jiang Yue somewhat disappointed. It seemed to have little that was new. It was simply the Treasure Tree Clan's old approach: enter the Surface World first and seize territory. They would use the Treasure Tree Clan's ability to take land to secure footholds for the Underground Race's invading armies, giving their forces somewhere to establish a base and settle in after entering the Surface World.
Of course, they first had to establish the passages. These had to be stable and convenient, so that supplies and resources from the Underground World could be transported continuously.
The Underground Race's armies were divided into dozens of groups, each with a clear target. It was obvious that the Underground World hadn't entirely neglected surveying the Surface World over the years. They had conducted plenty of reconnaissance and gathered a great deal of intelligence.
The various armies were positioned to target the major powers across the Surface World's continents, as well as certain important territories. Each force had a specific objective.
After reading all this, Jiang Yue had a pretty good idea of the situation.
He also knew that this war was inevitable.
However, compared with three years ago, Jiang Yue was much calmer now. If war had broken out three years ago, the Surface World would have had virtually no chance of winning.
But now, three years later, the Surface World was fully prepared, and the balance of power between the two sides had shifted.
Most importantly, the Underground World had lost the initiative because of the special medicine.
The reason they were launching the war so soon was obvious: they wanted to seize this window of opportunity as quickly as possible, because the Underground Race truly had very little time left.
