Night Hawk felt uneasy too.

He actually had no idea what Lord Binghai was planning. Though the sky was already bright, Lord Binghai had sent him back to Yangfan Middle School to keep an eye on things there.

If Jiang Yue and the others left, he had to notify Lord Binghai immediately.

Night Hawk guessed Lord Binghai was waiting for a chance to make his move, but didn't want to do it at Yangfan Middle School.

That was only a guess, though. In truth, Night Hawk hoped Lord Binghai would clash head-on with Jiang Yue. He didn't mind stirring up trouble and watching the show.

He could accept either of them winning, and either of them surviving.

But Lord Binghai, who had always held himself above everyone else, was being so cautious this time. Night Hawk couldn't help feeling a little disappointed.

It seemed the Shadow Guardian and the Stone Man's deaths had dealt Lord Binghai a heavy blow, affecting his strategy to some extent.

If those two were still around, Lord Binghai wouldn't be acting so cautiously.

Although Lord Binghai hadn't shown any fear in front of him or Poison Bug, Night Hawk had clearly picked up on something.

Of course, Night Hawk saw through it but kept quiet.

On the surface, he was still Lord Binghai's guardian and had to obey his orders.

Night Hawk figured that sly Poison Bug had probably seen through it too. That guy likely had his own little schemes.

If Lord Binghai could defeat Jiang Yue, Poison Bug would surely be quick to curry favor.

But if Lord Binghai couldn't beat Jiang Yue, there was no way that guy would charge into battle for him. He'd run just as he had before.
