He Jin really was persistent. He'd been waiting outside for Director Liao the whole time.
Not long after Director Liao left Jiang Yue's room, a call came through to Jiang Yue. He was told that He Jin was pestering Director Liao again, asking him to arrange a meeting with Jiang Yue.
Director Liao had received Jiang Yue's instructions earlier, so he had no choice but to make the call.
Jiang Yue readily told Director Liao to find a place for them to meet and said he'd go see He Jin in a little while.
Finding a discreet spot in the hotel wasn't difficult for Director Liao.
He soon had everything arranged for Jiang Yue.
"Mr. He, let me be blunt. Director Jiang is now a member of the Joint Command Group, and his position is of great importance. Don't entertain any dangerous ideas or make any dangerous moves."
He Jin replied calmly, "Director Liao, you can rest assured. I'm a defeated general, and I know exactly how capable I am. Besides, Director Jiang and I have no personal grudge. Before, we were simply serving different sides, and I had no choice."
He Jin seemed burdened by worries, and didn't look like he was there to cause trouble.

Anyone who dares to cause trouble for one of its directors could end up as an example, a chicken killed to scare the monkeys."
He Jin clearly hadn't come to cause Jiang Yue trouble. He let Director Liao ramble on without offering much explanation, only rubbing his hands
