• Chen Lin and Zhao Mengru were taken aboard the Ghost Warship, crossed into its battlefield, and Chen Lin fought his way toward the settlement while seeking a way out.
• Chen Lin rescued Dantai Yunjin and other captives, then defended the stronghold against monsters until he killed the Golden Crow and sent Zhao Mengru through Dantai Yunjin’s space rift.
• A Golden Arrow teleported Chen Lin to the Wuding Sea, and he eventually reached Silver Immortal City, where he opened a shop and cultivated.
• Silver Fairy defeated Cang Yuanwang and the Netherworld Ancestor, then made Chen Lin one of her Accepted Disciples and appointed him Deacon of the Pill Hall.

After the city was rebuilt, he pursued Buddha-Ferrying Grass and a powerful weapon, leaving the story poised for a private meeting with a monk from the Demon-Suppressing Temple.

• Chen Lin became Silver Fairy’s third Room Disciple, established the Tian Family’s allegiance, and began preparing for the dangers of the Nightmare Realm.
• Chen Lin broke through to foundation establishment middle stage, entered the Nightmare Realm to save Mu Linglong, and returned with a Straw Button from Niuniu.

He entered the Hanhai Immortal Palace secret realm to gather rare materials, where a blue-robed cultivator wounded him while pursuing the Storage Bag his puppet had recovered.

• Chen Lin survived the destroyed teleportation formation and escaped the strange village and Ferry Town, then reached Tianyun Immortal City and reunited with Dantai Yunjin and his relatives.
• Chen Lin advanced to late Foundation Establishment, killed Zhao Zhenqi and the Sky Eagle Sect cultivators who ambushed him, and learned Luo Qinglan had rebuilt the Qingyang Sect in Starry City.

After gathering rare soul treasures and reuniting with Yun Xiumian, he returned north to find his senior brother gravely ill.
