Chen Lin reunited with his family in the secret realm, explored Gambling Fortune Lake, and learned to use his qi luck and the Qi Luck Gloves. He rescued the Silver Fairy from the Frog’s scenario with the Cat-headed Monster’s help and carried her toward the exit node.

• Chen Lin destroyed the Soul-Devouring Buddha, then helped Chen Bao and Chen Ling'er escape with the Xuanyang Ghost Ganoderma and reunited with his family in the secret realm.
• Chen Lin helped Qin Lingyu and Sun Caiyi reach the Golden Core Realm, learned that Yun Xiumian was preparing to condense a yang soul, and received a Nightmare Realm box from He Shouchu.

The arc ends with him trapped in a strange realm beyond the Rainbow Vortex, where Yun Xiumian identifies a flower resembling the legendary Seven Realms Flower.

• Chen Lin left the ruined Yunding Secret Realm, learned that Luo Qinglan had become a Nascent Soul cultivator, and traveled across the Calamity Continent in search of a way back to the Southern Immortal Cultivation World.
