Chen Lin sought a way out of the collapsing realm while investigating Nightmare Realm scenarios, gaining Grass as an ally and uncovering a new threat tied to the Seven Stars Alignment. The stretch ended when wounded Nanmen Lingyue arrived at a Nightmare Realm node seeking Chen Lin’s help.

He joined Princess Qinghua’s circle, traded for access to the Soul Refining Pond, and began selling Soul Refining Pills while Qinghua prepared to attempt Soul Fusion again.

• Chen Lin followed the changing Buddha statues through the Demon-Suppressing Temple, where Nian Kong sent him through a Golden Light Gate as the pagoda collapsed.
• Chen Lin survived the crossing badly injured and, with Grass, escaped the village and fought the Silver Saber Demon King’s bandits.
• Chen Lin disguised himself with a bandit’s life cord, traveled to the Grand Bazaar, and learned about Head Country’s ties to Soul Country and its dangerous soul fusions.
