• Chen Lin reunited with Chen Ling'er, Qin Lingyu, and Sun Caiyi, learned of their losses, and destroyed the Myriad Demon Sect after discovering the Heartless Devil Lord had impersonated him.
• Chen Lin brought his family and companions to Tianbao Peak, where Chen Ling'er reached Spirit Transformation, then traveled toward the True Spirit Continent and met Huang Ying while investigating a golden island.
• Chen Lin learned that the golden pillar was the Ruyi Staff and that the Tianxuan Realm had shattered, while the Traveling Merchant later explained that planes faced Voidification and that true origin could resist it.

He returned home with a new status and powerful grapes, declined to risk himself for Kannie’s trapped original body, and agreed to teach Chen Ling'er how to explore the Nightmare Realm.

• Chen Lin traded for spirit blood and spirit gold, acquired a Circumambulation Beast, and refined its kind into a pill that strengthened his soul without advancing it further.

After the continents merged and the Cheng Sisters were taken, he entered a Nightmare Realm scenario, where Zhu Sankui’s forces attacked the County Office.

• Chen Lin removed the Youruo remnant from Lu Xiaoyi, then attended Yue Tianyi’s ceremony and learned that Xin Yueling had been possessed by Luo’s remnant.
• Chen Lin used the Soul-Destroying Finger on Xin Yueling, Yue Tianyi, and Zhang Zhenqian, securing herbs and other benefits in exchange for helping them.
• Chen Lin visited Madam Miaoyin to obtain a translation of the Wall Inscription, while she warned him that he had little time left.

Chen Lin strengthened his soul, reunited with Grass, and joined the assault on the Immortal Palace barrier. After entering the palace’s soul trial, he reached a city where a Source Soul Infusion advanced him to the fourth rank.
