As the Ruins Dungeon collapsed under the Time Rays, Xu Huo rescued Players and discovered a stone containing a suspected high-grade Time Origin. He killed the Players who tried to take it, escaped the dungeon, and asked Minister Fan for a ride back.

• Time Rays and falling islands killed or trapped Players as they searched for an exit, while Xu Huo used Cube Space to help several people.
• Wang Dafa and his group reached Xu Huo, who pulled them to safety; a rescued female Player attacked Sun Minqi, and he stabbed her.

After Nie Xuan intervened, Xu Huo plunged into his memories and became trapped in a shifting Mental Portal, where he encountered Tang again and asked him for help completing his Evolution.

Tang Guangbo examined Xu Huo’s mental Evolution and explained his theory that changes in mental power reveal when an Evolver is ready to advance. He found Xu Huo’s mental state exceptionally robust and offered to study him further.

• Tang Guangbo explained that Mental Evolution progresses through four stages and that brightening lights in the brain can signal an approaching Evolution.
