Xu Huo uncovered Mr. Kang’s role in Little River City’s disappearances and time distortion, then destroyed the city and killed him. As the survivors regrouped and discussed Dr. Wu, Xu Huo discovered that Mr. Kang’s toxin was overcoming the King Fungus and found a card promising a future magic show.

• Xu Huo trapped Jiang Wenzhang, exposed the staged disappearances, and learned that Mr. Kang preyed on children and could immobilize Players.
• Xu Huo entered Little River City, found Uncle Guan and the other survivors at Mr. Kang’s banquet, and confronted Mr. Kang after revealing that he had eaten Miss Ma’s child.
• Xu Huo challenged Mr. Kang’s account of the disappearances, fought him through the shifting Commercial Building, and destroyed Little River City’s metal structures with the Life Core.
• Xu Huo defeated Mr. Kang with his artifacts and spatial abilities, then found a transparent cube whose Space Power resonated with his own abilities.
• Xu Huo and Zhou Yuanzhu faced Gong Jiaji and other Players, and Xu Huo killed those who attacked him before returning to the Commercial Building with the survivors.
• Uncle Guan told Xu Huo that Dr. Wu was alive and shared his cryptic message, while Xu Huo questioned the Society’s account of Dr. Wu’s life and the game’s history.
• Xu Huo helped the survivors fight off Players demanding shelter, advised Tan Qi to leave on a non-player Ticket, and discovered he had been poisoned by Mr. Kang’s toxin.
• Xu Huo learned the toxin was overwhelming the King Fungus, found the Magician’s Gift among the debris, and realized a magic show would eventually come for him.

Xu Huo returned to District 014 while recovering from his injuries, protected the Safe Zone, and survived the Magician’s attack on his plane. After reuniting with his family and confronting dangerous Players, he joined the defense of their residential complex when dense fog surrounded it.

• Xu Huo returned to District 014, where the Special Defense Department contained the strange fungal growth around him and defended the Safe Zone from intruders.
• Xu Huo subdued attackers, investigated claims that Bian Ling had leaked information, and forced Special Defense Department leaders to record their names before leaving.
• Xu Huo visited his family for New Year, but the Magician trapped his plane in an illusion and challenged the passengers to a deadly box game.
• Xu Huo fought the Magician, secured the plane’s safe landing, and reunited with Tongtong, Father Xu, Ms. Yu, and the old man.
• Xu Huo met Gu Yu and her friends, killed Brother Zhong after he harassed a woman and child, and arranged for Players to monitor locations around the Safe Zone.
• Xu Huo met Bian Ling at home, spent New Year’s Eve with his family, and watched dense fog engulf their residential complex.
• Xu Huo went downstairs and joined the Players guarding the entrances, who had orders to let no one in.

Xu Huo exposed the Special Defense Department’s abuses, hunted those responsible, and clashed with the Magician. He then entered a vanished island’s shifting ruins, where the Magician revealed the connection between Magician’s Gift, Cube Space, and an A-class Dungeon.

• Xu Huo confronted the Special Defense Department over forced Evolutions and gave Minister Fan two days to expose the truth and punish those responsible.
• After the department announced its cleanup, Xu Huo visited safe houses across nine cities, using Potions on people from Nie Xuan’s list and killing several of them.
• The Magician attacked Xu Huo, but their fight ended without a decisive winner, and the Magician later approached him aboard a plane to discuss a trade.
• Xu Huo returned home and learned from Nie Xuan that an island had vanished from satellite images, then agreed to travel there with Song Xiaohua.
• Xu Huo entered the island’s ruined city and discovered that its overlapping spaces shifted unpredictably, trapping him away from the exits.
• Xu Huo killed a bald player who confronted him and continued exploring the ruins with Song Xiaohua as other players struggled to understand the space.
• Xu Huo traced an attack through the ruins to the Magician, and their battle ended when Xu Huo released his shadow personality.
• The Magician offered two A-class items for Magician’s Gift and explained its link to an A-class Dungeon, while Xu Huo asked for another reason to trade it.

Xu Huo underwent treatment that unlocked his third Mental Evolution, then returned to Rose Castle and prepared for the upgraded Poker Card Maze. In Card City, he joined Liang Shuang and met Ye Bingxin and Jiang Zifeng as they considered forming a team for the Dungeon.

• Xu Huo and the Magician broke the Time Rays holding the ruins together, and Xu Huo escaped the collapsing island with a high-grade Time Origin.
• Xu Huo traded Dungeon walkthroughs with Minister Fan and underwent hypnosis with Tang Guangbo, where he confronted memories of Dr. Zhang and completed his third Mental Evolution.
• Xu Huo exposed Song Xiaohua’s Player organ-trading operation, then faced government Players who demanded his detention before Minister Fan ordered them to stand down.
• Xu Huo left District 014 and killed Players who lured Aliens onto the train, then returned to Rose Castle and arranged care and education for Xiao Yuan and Tan Qi.
• Xu Huo met the hat-wearing Player, who invited him to a Dungeon with a powerful reward, and agreed to consider Liang Shuang’s offer to team up for the upgraded Poker Card Maze.
• Xu Huo bought combat items, Protective Suits, and supplies before traveling with Liang Shuang to Card City, where they investigated a possible maze entrance at Thrilling Ball Fort.
• Ye Bingxin invited Xu Huo and Liang Shuang to team up, while Jiang Zifeng explained his revenge on Stellar Machinery and turned purple after eating a poisonous flower bud.
