Background and History
Lu Li was driven out by the Lu family as a child. Ye Qiu’s mother, Wen Xi, took her in, taught her, and arranged a written marriage contract between the children. Lu Li disappeared after several months with the Wen family; when she reappeared, she was Nan Qingyue’s disciple and an Academy core disciple 12 15 45.
She holds Ye Qiu to their childhood agreement and to his later promise to acknowledge it if she defeated him—which she did three times. Her teasing about their childhood conceals a lasting attachment: Ye Qiu’s kindness and willingness to protect her helped sustain her through later hardships 15 127.
Fragments of sealed memories began returning to Lu Li at five, became clearer at seven, and expanded substantially at eleven. They remain incomplete, and she does not tell Ye Qiu everything she remembers 519.
Appearance
Lu Li is tall and striking, with fair skin, long legs, and graceful features. She habitually wears white 1 24 356.

Personality
Lu Li’s aloof public reputation contrasts with her playful, possessive behavior around Ye Qiu. She enjoys flustering him, but also tends his injuries and instinctively places herself between him and danger 15 34 398.
She is direct and often ruthless when confronting people who threaten him. Her confidence does not make her power painless to use: after overextending herself, she seeks ways to suppress it and worries about losing control or forgetting Ye Qiu 24 347 356.
