Background / History

Su Ming is a transmigrator who entered Qingyun Sect with a Five Elements Mixed Spirit Root and initially suffered from extremely slow cultivation. He activated the Life Simulator, which allowed him to experience possible futures, draw Talents, and bring selected rewards back into reality. His early simulations taught him to treat cultivation as a survival problem rather than blindly following the sect’s path 1.

He gained Innate Wisdom Root, mastered multiple Outer Sect techniques, reached Qi Refining Tenth Layer, and killed a Foundation Establishment cultivator during a mission against the Demonic Cult 2. He later suspected that Qingyun Sect’s Foundation Establishment Pills were compromised, obtained the Alchemy Prodigy Talent, and began refining his own pills rather than relying on the sect’s supply 3.

Su Ming’s distrust of Qingyun Sect deepened after he discovered that Inner Sect Elder Mo Chen had obstructed his development and that Foundation Establishment cultivators could be devoured by Sinister Worms. Su Ming is calculating, cautious, and intensely pragmatic. He uses simulations to prepare for threats, tests the reliability of others, and avoids revealing information unless doing so serves a clear purpose.
