Chapter Summaries

Kate took Li Ang, Kara, Ciri, and Rachel on a family shopping trip in Gotham, buying out a Barbie store and a comic shop before treating them to a movie and an expensive seafood lunch. When they discussed visiting Metropolis, Kate reassured Li Ang that Wayne Enterprises' presence there could help keep them safe.

• Kate drove Li Ang, Kara, and Ciri to pick up Rachel, and the three girls chatted together on the way to the mall.
