The Empress's voice seemed to come from an ice cavern, every word carrying bone-piercing cold.
The blush on her face had long since been replaced by towering fury. Her beautiful features were even slightly distorted by the sheer extremity of her rage.
The killing intent radiating from her body was nearly tangible, and even the temperature inside the bedchamber dropped sharply!
"You want to... hurt Shisui?! And take his eyes?!"
She could hardly believe her ears!
This sneaky coward actually dared set his sights on the only man who made her feel at ease, the only man who made her heart race!
"I will reduce you to ashes!!!"
Without any warning, the Empress's fury erupted like a volcano!
She could not even be bothered with her signature pose as she abruptly pointed a jade-like finger at Obito.
"Slave Arrow!!"
A pink, heart-shaped beam, thicker and more solid than any before, filled with all of the Empress's rage and killing intent.
It blasted toward Obito in an instant at a speed too fast for the naked eye to follow!
Obito had never expected the Empress to attack so suddenly!
He had assumed that she would at least weigh the pros and cons!
The sudden attack was absurdly fast, and he did not even have time to fully phase himself!
"What?!"
In his haste, Obito only managed to partially phase his body, but the pink beam still struck the right half of his shoulder and arm head-on!
"Crack... crack..."
A teeth-grating sound rang out as the right half of Obito's body, from his shoulder to his arm, instantly turned into grayish-white stone!
A heavy, rigid numbness spread through him!
"Urgh!"
Obito let out a pained groan, his face beneath the mask twisting with agony and shock.
He stared in disbelief at his petrified right arm, horror rising in his heart.
This woman's ability is this overbearing?! Even space-time ninjutsu can't completely negate it?!
"Coward! Die!"
Having landed a blow, the Empress's killing intent intensified. She gave Obito no chance to catch his breath.
Her long, slender leg became coated in Armament Haki and shot toward Obito's face like a bolt of black lightning!
She intended to utterly crush this bastard who dared covet Shisui!
The shadow of death descended!
Obito was terrified out of his wits. He no longer cared about any plan or any Sharingan! Staying alive came first!
"Kamui!"
Just as the Empress's toes were about to touch his mask, the space around Obito violently warped once more.
His figure vanished from the spot as though sucked into a vortex.
The Empress's sure-kill kick struck empty air, and the powerful gust it created sent the bedchamber's curtains flapping wildly.
"He escaped?"
The Empress landed on the ground and swept her cold, furious gaze across the empty bedchamber, unable to quell the rage in her heart.
That bastard had run away so quickly!
But that eye of his—he was one of the Uchiha too, wasn't he?!
With that thought, the Empress immediately rose and stormed toward the Uchiha Compound.
She was going to demand an explanation from Yoru, the Uchiha clan head.
How did he manage his clansmen? One of them had set his sights on her Shisui!
Having fled into the Kamui Dimension, Obito clutched his still-petrified right arm. His heart had yet to settle, and he was filled with lingering fear and venomous resentment.
"This woman... is insane! She's completely unreasonable!"
Fortunately, there were still White Zetsu available for replacement in the Kamui Dimension.
Obito directly shattered his petrified right arm, then replaced it with a brand-new White Zetsu arm.
But the danger had not diminished in the slightest.
What he feared now was that the Empress would tell Uchiha Yoru about his appearance.

"I am the emperor of this island. The entire island belongs to me. Where can I not go?"
The Empress raised her head, waiting for the men before her to bow before her beauty.
To her surprise, the instant Inabi heard her words, his expression changed. He drew a Kunai coated in Haki, pointed it at the Empress, and rebuked her furiously.
"Insolence! This place is already under Uchiha jurisdiction!"
"Are you seeking death?" The Empress's face darkened.
"Prepare for battle!"
Inabi shouted, and the Uchiha members prepared to attack.
"Stop!"
At the critical moment, Shisui appeared between the two tense sides with Body Flicker, stopping the conflict in time.
He first looked at Uchiha Inabi and the others, his tone gentle yet carrying unquestionable authority.
"Inabi, put away your weapons. Her Majesty the Empress is our guest and our ally. Do not be disrespectful."
Although Inabi and the others looked unhappy, they trusted Shisui greatly.
At his words, they put away their Kunai, though the wariness in their eyes did not lessen.
Only then did Shisui turn to the Empress, his signature gentle smile on his face.
"Your Majesty, you came so suddenly. Is something urgent? You seem to be... in a rather bad mood?"
The Empress had originally been furious and ready to demand answers, but the instant she saw Shisui appear—
The anger in her heart deflated for no reason, like a punctured balloon.
Especially when she heard his gentle inquiry, the urgency and grievance born from worrying about him surged up, diluting her fury.
The stern words she had prepared to question Uchiha Yoru circled around her lips several times, but when they finally emerged, they carried a trace of reproach.
There was even a hint of coquettishness that she herself did not notice.
