"People here are really tall."
"And they're all so sturdy, packed with muscle."
"Giants you'd normally never see are everywhere here..."
"No wonder it's another world."
The Uchiha were astonished as they entered Marine Headquarters and watched the Marines constantly passing through the building, unable to stop themselves from voicing their amazement.
Perhaps because this was another world, people here were generally tall and powerfully built.
Back in the Ninja World or Soul Society, anyone standing two meters tall would have been a rare burly giant.
Their Master, Kenma, for instance, stood at a towering 1.9 meters and could look down on nearly every Shinigami in the Seireitei.
Yet in this world, that height was utterly ordinary and could be seen everywhere.
Compared to Marine Generals who stood three or four meters tall at the slightest, a two-meter build instead seemed small and pitiful.
Like an undeveloped dwarf.
And that was not all. They even saw something rarer.
The group openly walked down an overly wide corridor when a hulking man approached them. He was an unimaginable seven meters tall, with an exceptionally muscular body. His chest was especially pronounced, making his upper body abnormally huge and his legs disproportionately short. He looked bizarre.
The giant wore a hat with bear ears and carried a thick book in his hand. Every step he took made the ground beneath his feet tremble.
Boom!
Boom! Boom!
Everyone worried that the building might collapse beneath the giant's weight.
"A Giant?"
"Can a normal person really have a body like that?"
"No wonder it's another world..."
Hearing the Uchiha chattering behind him, Kenma was amused by their reactions.
He had not expected this group of arrogant Uchiha to be so shocked by the people of the Pirate World.
Kenma felt as though he were leading a group of elementary schoolchildren on a sightseeing tour.
Looking at the giant before him, Kenma recognized his identity at once.
After all, he was far too distinctive.
Without turning his head, he said, "He isn't a Giant. He's merely an ordinary human who happens to be rather tall."
"As for Giants, you'll see them shortly."
Kenma's words startled the Uchiha.
A body over seven meters tall was still considered an ordinary human?
And there really were Giants!
If an ordinary person could stand seven meters tall, just how tall would a Giant be?
As they passed the hulking man, every Uchiha raised their heads to look up at him.
Yes, he really was enormous.
After walking a little farther, they encountered someone completely different from the first giant.
This person was also tall, around seven or eight meters, but his appearance was exceptionally terrifying and strange.
Below his enormous belly were a pair of tiny legs. His neck was unusually long, and he had no chin. A stitched scar ran from his mouth all the way down to his chest.
His skin was gray, and two spikes jutted out from his forehead. He grinned with his gaping maw, exposing a mouth full of fangs like a demon crawling out of hell.
From a distance, he looked like a giant onion walking toward them, each step likewise shaking the corridor.
After the impact of seeing the previous giant, they were not quite as shocked by this savage-looking man.
In the end, they could only sigh.
"This other world... is truly wondrous."
After passing the giant, Shisui could not help looking back at him once more. Then he asked Kenma, "My lord, is that also a human? Not some demon or monster?"
"His appearance may be strange, but he is indeed human, not some demon or monster."
Seeing the confusion on his face, Kenma explained,
"Among the countless Pirates on these seas, aside from the Four Emperors I mentioned before, there are also powerful figures only a step below them. The most representative are the Pirates permitted by the World Government to plunder legally: the Shichibukai."
"The two giants we just saw—the burly man in the bear-ear hat is Bartholomew Kuma, known as the Tyrant. The strange-looking one is called Gecko Moria. Both are Shichibukai."
"The Shichibukai?"
Fugaku frowned. With his political awareness, he could naturally see what sort of political stance these so-called Shichibukai occupied.
Since they had received permission from the World Government to plunder, they would naturally have to assist the World Government in certain matters.
For example, the great war between the Marines and the Four Emperors currently at hand!
He could sense the exceptionally powerful aura around the two men. They were very strong, clearly no ordinary people.
"My lord, are all seven of these Shichibukai giants like that?"
"Not at all. Other than Giants, builds like theirs are rare even in this world."
After passing those two giants, they encountered two more people.
One was a man with exceptionally sharp eyes. His appearance and height were entirely normal, but he carried an enormous pitch-black sword on his back that exuded immense pressure.
The other was around three meters tall, with a normal build, though his style of dress was quite distinctive. He wore a pink feathered coat and sunglasses, strutting with an incredibly flamboyant gait.
Still, compared with the first two, their visual impact was much less overwhelming.
Kenma introduced them, "These two are also Shichibukai: Dracule Mihawk, known as the world's greatest Great Swordsman, and the Heavenly Yaksha, Donquixote Doflamingo."
"The world's greatest... swordsman?"
"The Heavenly Yaksha..."
Everyone could sense that these two were no pushovers either.
Merely from the way they walked, it was clear that both were strong.
That Great Swordsman in particular, whose gaze was as sharp as an eagle's, was absurdly powerful.
Even when they had been alive, they likely would not have been a match for the Shichibukai they had encountered.
The only ones who might have been able to exchange a few moves with them were Clan Head Fugaku after awakening his Mangekyo, and Shisui, the strongest in the clan.
Fortunately, they were already dead and possessed a completely different system of power from what they had wielded in life.
Shisui and Fugaku exchanged a glance, each seeing the other's true thoughts.
If these powerful figures died in this war, and if they possessed the aptitude to become Shinigami, they would undoubtedly be Lord Kenma's greatest allies!
Then... should they give things a little push?
"Now that all the Shichibukai have appeared, it seems the preparations before the war are complete."
After passing those figures, Kenma fell into thought.
War was about to begin.
When the group crossed this floor and reached the stairway, a group of Giants like moving mountains suddenly approached them head-on.
The Giants wore different clothing, and every step they took made the building shake. The commotion they caused far surpassed that of the two hulking Shichibukai from before.
Upon seeing the Giants with their own eyes, the Uchiha could not help stopping to take in the rare sight.
Pairs of scarlet Sharingan lit up, brimming with shock.
"So these are the true Giants..."
"Compared to them, those two Shichibukai from before really weren't that tall."
"How can they grow so large? Can their organs, bones, and muscles support such tremendous weight?"
After standing there and watching the Giants leave, the Uchiha took a long while to recover. They could not stop sighing as they discussed everything they had seen along the way.
The group climbed flight after flight of stairs and finally reached the Rooftop.
Standing on the green tiles, they looked down from above at the plaza below, where a dense crowd had already gathered.
One hundred thousand Marine Elite summoned from the Four Seas had completed their formations and stood ready for battle!
