Chiba: Then It's Simple, I'll Just Become Six Paths

Throughout Sunagakure, screams rang out one after another.

No matter what methods they used, the green Chakra Orbs merged into their bodies, drew out over ninety percent of their Chakra from behind them, then flew back and fused into Hyuga Chiba's main body and his thousands of shadow clones.

Having lost most of the Chakra in their bodies, the Sand Ninja were left half-kneeling on the ground, weak and pale-faced, as though they had just gone through an incredibly intense workout.

Their eyes were filled with unprecedented shock and fear as they looked at the thousands of green figures in the sky.

They had never imagined that someone could storm into Sunagakure alone and fight every Sand Ninja, Shukaku, and Orochimaru, one of Konoha's Sannin, without suffering any real injuries—and even forcibly absorb all their Chakra.

Yet amidst that shock and fear, quite a few Sand Ninja actually felt a trace of gratitude toward Hyuga Chiba.

Although they did not know why Hyuga Chiba had not done so, it was clear that if he wanted to, he could have drained every last bit of Chakra from their bodies.

By then, aside from a very few survivors with exceptional circumstances, all the other Sand Ninja would probably have died!

At this moment, even Rasa and Orochimaru were not in much better shape than the Sand Ninja.

At most, they appeared somewhat calmer, and the expressions on their faces were not quite so "out of control."

But Orochimaru had no energy left to order them to do anything.

He had also realized that whatever he tried to do now would no longer have much meaning.

Under Chiba's will, the power of the Tenseigan, and the effects of Yin Yang Release, that vast Chakra was rapidly undergoing some wondrous transformation.

Very soon, Chiba discovered that the original scene before him had vanished, replaced by a mysterious green space.

At the very center of the space stood a multicolored object around fifty meters tall, shaped like a cocoon or an egg.

The object pulsed like a beating heart, as though a new life possessing terrifying power was being nurtured within it.

"Shukaku, countless Sand Ninja, Yin Yang Release, and some sort of mind-over-matter effect from me... are they about to create an entirely new Tailed Beast?"

In an instant, Chiba understood what had happened.

Thousands of years ago, there had been no distinction between One-Tail, Two-Tails, and so on upon this planet. The only Tailed Beast was the Ten-Tails.

The Sage of Six Paths, Otsutsuki Hagoromo, extracted all the Chakra from the Ten-Tails, divided that Chakra "equally" into nine portions, then used Yin Power, "the source of spiritual energy governing imagination," to shape nine different forms, and Yang Power, "the source of physical energy governing life," to breathe life into those forms. That was how the current Nine Tailed Beasts came to be.

What Chiba had previously extracted from Shukaku, Orochimaru, Rasa, and the others was merely pure Chakra, completely free of any will or life characteristics.

As the Tenseigan was on the same level as the Rinnegan, it could also grant Chiba the power of Yin Yang Release. At most, this power was far weaker than that of the Sage of Six Paths back then.

Combined with Chiba's own mind-over-matter outburst and a tiny, tiny bit of luck, it was enough to nurture an entirely new Tailed Beast within him.

The special space Chiba was currently in was somewhat similar to the "Sealing Space" where Nine-Tails resided inside Naruto.

Of course, Chiba had not sealed the still-developing New Tailed Beast within his body, so he was not a Jinchuriki in the conventional sense.

Even if this New Tailed Beast left his body, he would not die.

However, Chiba could use the immense Chakra within the New Tailed Beast just like other Jinchuriki.

Although he could not consume too much of the New Tailed Beast's Chakra at once for now, lest it affect its true birth, it was already more than enough for the time being.

And not only that!

From the moment this New Tailed Beast appeared, it had vaguely formed a unique connection with Chiba, something like telepathy.

In theory, once the New Tailed Beast was fully nurtured, even if Chiba was not a Jinchuriki, he would be able to do the things other Perfect Jinchuriki could do.

But no matter how much Chakra Chiba extracted, it would eventually run out. It was only a matter of time.

Yet now that Chakra had become a New Tailed Beast on the verge of being born. That changed everything.

Because the Chakra expended by a Tailed Beast could recover on its own.

Once he became a Perfect Jinchuriki, the Tailed Beast could even provide benefits such as "immunity to Illusion Techniques" and "extracting Senjutsu Chakra."
