Pongkan Island lay between Tangelo Island, Trovita Island, Kumquat Island, and Mandarin Island. The four islands surrounded it in a semicircle, and it was about the same size as each of them.
Yesterday, after Annie reunited with Ash and Misty on Kumquat Island and helped them deal with a minor problem, she joined the three of them that evening after dinner. They crossed the sea to Pongkan Island aboard Lapras.
Of course, crossing from Kumquat Island to Pongkan Island wasn't easy, and they hadn't traveled very quickly. It had taken all four of them the entire night.

For Misty, traveling across the sea on Lapras had practically become part of her daily routine lately, so she didn't think there was anything wrong with it.
More importantly, with Annie back in the group, their financial situation had improved at once. The previous night, Misty, Ash, and Tracey had eaten their fill on Kumquat Island and then slept soundly on Lapras's back. Now they felt refreshed and energetic.
"It took the whole night to get here. How is that not slow?"
(﹏,)
"Was it fun spending all night crammed onto a tiny turtle shell?"
