Their blades kept clashing, though Oden was the one chasing Patri Vic.
But anyone with eyes could see that Patri Vic was fighting with ease, barely breaking a sweat.

Patri Vic retreated, then suddenly swung his blade. It scraped through the air, making it crackle softly as the space around it warped.
A blade of Sword Qi shaped like a shark's fin tore across the ground at high speed, crashing toward Oden with overwhelming force.
"Damn it, how is his swordsmanship so strong?!"
A bead of cold sweat appeared on Oden's forehead. Gritting his teeth, he raised both Famous Swords in front of him.
Patri Vic's Sword Qi crashed against his blades, driving him back dozens of meters and carving a long trench behind him.
After blocking Patri Vic's attack, Oden was just about to counterattack.
Then his Observation Haki suddenly sensed danger.
"Whoosh!"
Patri Vic appeared at Oden's side and slashed at his abdomen.
"Bang!"
At the critical moment, Oden covered his body in Haki and managed to withstand the slash, but he was sent flying hundreds of meters backward.
He crashed through several towering old trees before finally getting stuck against one.
"The samurai's swordsmanship is decent, but compared to Vic, he's still far behind."
Golden Lion gazed at Oden and spoke blandly.
"To hold his own against Vic, even briefly, shows that Wano Country's samurai are no ordinary fighters," Whitebeard praised.
Not many people aboard the Rocks Pirates could fight Patri Vic.
The samurai looked quite young, too. There was no doubt he had great potential.
"This is why I came to Wano Country. Even if there's no Poneglyph, we can recruit plenty of samurai here. And the swords from this country are famous," Rocks said with a slight smile, his arms crossed
