Background

Vic is a transmigrator from another world who arrived in the One Piece world as Patri Vic. The God-Tier Template System assigned him the Hashirama Senju template, which develops through training and combat. He spent two years on Hachinosu Island before the system awakened, initially working in a tavern under Whitebeard's protection. His early ambition was simply to survive among Hachinosu's far stronger pirates 1 3.

Whitebeard recognized Vic's rapid growth and encouraged him to use the Rocks Pirates as a training ground. Vic joined as a probationary member, trained in Armament and Observation Haki under Whitebeard, and eventually became a Rocks Pirates cadre 7 13 27.

Vic's ability to wield several apparently unrelated powers led observers to believe that he had consumed multiple Devil Fruits. His battles with Roger made that reputation public, while the Navy identified him as an exceptional long-term threat 27 35 36.
