He had spent his whole life in Wano Country and knew little about the outside world. As soon as he heard there was something good, his curiosity was piqued.
"Pure Gold, which can grant immortality." Patri Vic spoke calmly, a faint smile on his lips.
"Imm... immortality?" Oden asked, his face shocked and his words stumbling.
"That's right. Inside the Lantern Fish is Pure Gold, a substance that can grant immortality." Patri Vic nodded.
Olga and her father were undoubtedly still inside the Lantern Fish's belly, because they had no way to escape.
Olga had escaped when Luffy's bounty reached 500 million.
Luffy hadn't even been born yet.
"Y-you're not joking, are you, Lord Vic?" Oden was still struggling to recover from his shock.
Who in this world wouldn't be tempted by Pure Gold, which could grant immortality?
"Do I have any reason to joke with you?" Patri Vic glanced at him and replied coolly.
"B-but how do you know there's Pure Gold inside the Lantern Fish? Have you been here before, Lord Vic?" Oden swallowed and continued asking.
"There's no need to ask so many questions, Oden."
Patri Vic unleashed his Observation Haki and began searching the area for signs of life.
"Immortality... Is there really something in this world that can make people live forever?" Oden stood there, muttering to himself.
When he turned around, he saw that Patri Vic had already gone some distance ahead, so he hurried after him.
"Roar!"
Suddenly, several sturdy tyrannosaurs came running from nearby.
They charged at Patri Vic with their jaws gaping wide.
Just as they were about to reach him, they suddenly felt an overwhelming fear.
A red circle spread outward from Patri Vic, and an overbearing pressure instantly bore down on the tyrannosaurs.
