"Let's get out of here."
Tang San wore a smile, but he was already considering which Fierce Beast to capture and kill.
The two nodded reluctantly and followed him.
Sky Dream Ice Silkworm was already howling, writhing, and squirming within Huo Yuhao's Sea of Spirit. That was the Ice God's inheritance site. It had stayed in the Far North Land for so long without discovering it. If Huo Yuhao had listened to it and added a second martial soul, he might even have been chosen as the inheritor.
"Yuhao may be in danger."
Electrolux appeared in the form of an old man. Looking helplessly at the writhing giant bug before him, it was precisely his help that had allowed them to speak without Tang San noticing.
"Danger?"
Sky Dream Ice Silkworm stopped twisting, its plump muscles tightening. Huo Yuhao was now its everything. No one could hurt Yuhao.
"I sensed changes in the world around us. Whoever is coming has an imposing presence."
In Electrolux's original world, becoming a god meant merging with heaven and earth. To him, that was no different from perishing, so he had refused godhood.
Yet there was no denying that he had been the strongest being beneath the gods of his era. No one could rival his understanding of the world, so even with only a fragment of divine consciousness remaining, he could sense the changes in the surrounding world.
Tang San was likewise only a strand of divine consciousness, but he normally used only Faith Power to elevate his godhood and paid no attention to other matters.
On top of that, he thought highly of himself and believed no one could threaten him. He had not investigated carefully, which was why he had failed to notice the changes and remained highly excited.
Electrolux gazed into the distance, as though he could see the enemy outside through the Sea of Spirit.
Huo Yuhao felt somewhat nervous. Though he had not joined the conversation, he had heard every word clearly.
"Yuhao, what's wrong?"
Tang San noticed Huo Yuhao's abnormality. The little fellow seemed rather tense.
After hesitating, unsure how to explain the source of his information, Huo Yuhao barely managed to come up with an excuse.
"I don't know why, but I have a bad feeling."
Tang San's pupils contracted slightly. Could a Child of Destiny sense my future arrangements for him? That shouldn't be possible, should it?
"It's fine. No one in this world can hurt me."
Tang San was extremely confident at this moment. With divine artifacts covering his body, he did not fear even the Silver Dragon King.
Huo Yuhao forced out a smile, but the panic in his heart only grew. Wang Dong gently took Huo Yuhao's hand, only to find it drenched in cold sweat.
The group flew out of the tunnel and finally returned to the surface, only to find a mass of discordant figures suddenly appearing before them.
"So many Soul Beasts!"
Wang Dong could not help crying out. This was her first time seeing so many Soul Beasts gathered together. After all, her previous soul rings had all been absorbed through special methods used by her family.
Amid the raging snowstorm, the Soul Beasts of the Far North Land knelt in a vast white expanse. They had all been worshipping that noble aura from before, but when three humans suddenly appeared, they immediately bared their fangs and roared at them.
"Don't worry. They won't affect us in the slightest."
Tang San smiled faintly. There was not even a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast among them, yet they dared act fierce before him.
As soon as he finished speaking, a tremendous wave of sound rushed toward the three of them. It came from the nearby Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts that had arrived.
"Humans, you deserve to die!"
Tang San's smile vanished as a terrifying aura crushed down upon them. The previously ferocious Soul Beasts trembled beneath that pressure, letting out whimpers.
"They're merely weaklings. There's no need to care."
"Tang San?"
A doubtful voice rang out, followed immediately by a claw strike trailing streaks of black light—the torn space behind it.
A golden ring flew forth and froze the attack in place. Tang San looked gravely toward the direction from which the strike had come. Its power had already surpassed the godly level.
Snow Empress and Ice Empress stared uncertainly at Xiong Jun and Tang San. Because Tang San's strength was insufficient, the phantom image of the God of the Sea he had displayed earlier could not be seen in the Far North Land, so they did not recognize him.
"Who exactly are you?"
Tang San's tone was heavy. He was confident he could kill the beasts before him, but it was not worth trading his daughter for it.
"Isn't this our great God of the Sea? What brings you to the Far North Land—digging for treasure?"
Xiong Jun's massive figure emerged, with two petite figures beside him. Snow Empress and Ice Empress stood at his side.
"Bing Bing! My Bing Bing!"
Sky Dream Ice Silkworm let out a wail. The scene it had always feared imagining had finally arrived. Would that God of the Sea kill its Bing Bing?
Electrolux looked at Xiong Jun uncertainly. He felt that the other party somehow did not belong to this world.
Tang San's expression darkened. What did he mean by digging for treasure? It had been for the safety of the Douluo Continent. The Ice God had voluntarily contributed the divine artifact to him.
"The Ice God's divine artifact!"
Ice Empress could not help shouting. The news about the Ice God that they had dreamed of day and night had finally appeared. Even the divine artifact itself had revealed its presence, though it was on the other party's body.
"I've long wanted to fight you. It's just that our lord has always wanted to crush you humans in one stroke. I've never fought a god before."
Xiong Jun cracked his knuckles, but his aura was completely restrained, without the slightest leak.
"All citizens of the Far North Land, in the name of Snow Empress, I order you to leave this place."
Snow Empress could tell that man and beast were bound to fight, so she immediately ordered the Soul Beasts here to depart.
The Soul Beasts all obeyed, immediately scattering in flight. None of them wanted to be killed by the aftershocks.
Tang San had a headache. He had not expected the other party to possess god-level combat power. That meant they might have several more god-level fighters. While he fought the Silver Dragon King, they could slaughter the upper echelon of humanity's combat forces.
And...
Tang San looked at Huo Yuhao beside him, whose eyes were wide open.
Were they simply fortunate that the Soul Beasts had voluntarily delivered themselves to them, allowing them to weaken the Soul Beast faction's strength, or had he and his daughter also been dragged down by this brat's luck, selected as sacrificial offerings to establish his path?
Tang San observed more than just the Douluo Continent. Many worlds had similar Children of Destiny, who often sacrificed those around them before cultivating far faster than ordinary people and encountering endless opportunities.
"Was sacrificing one mother not enough?"
Tang San cast that thought aside. They had to fight anyway, and this was the perfect chance to test the other party's strength.
"Uncertain Storm!"
Tang San extended his right hand. The Trident mark appeared once more on Wang Dong's forehead. Faint golden light drifted from her body before gathering in Tang San's hand, forming the shape of a Trident. This was another safeguard he had left on his daughter.
As the Trident swung, golden rings flew toward Xiong Jun, trapping Ice Empress and Snow Empress in an instant.
While condensing golden light to block Uncertain Storm, Xiong Jun shoved the two beasts behind him. Their reaction speeds were still far too slow in the face of a god's attack.
Hearing Xiong Jun's nearly imperceptible sigh, Snow Empress's face flushed slightly. Ice Empress covered her face with her pincers as well. It was simply too embarrassing—they had been instantly defeated upon meeting.
"Pinnacle of Gold - Sky Rend."
Dark golden light surged over Xiong Jun's claws. With a sweep of his bear claw, he attacked in Tang San's direction.
Lu Wu immediately thought he was the second coming of the Great Sage, about to begin his journey by getting pinned beneath a mountain.
"Hm? Bai Ze?"
A soft murmur rang out, accompanied by a heavy toll of a bell.
Lu Wu discovered that he could not move at all. Only his thoughts could function, as though the other party had deliberately allowed it.
The boulder and giant were the same. Then, within this frozen space-time, they quietly faded away as if they had never existed.
A man suddenly appeared before Lu Wu. His black-and-yellow hair flowed to his waist, and he wore the Primordial World Crown. A Great Sun Golden Flame Mark rested between his brows, while a noble imperial aura radiated from his body. An ancient bell floated silently behind him.
A bad feeling rose in Lu Wu's heart. Bai Ze, a bell toll, that sense of nobility... Don't tell me I've transmigrated into Bai Ze of the Primordial Realm, and he's Donghuang Taiyi?
"Why is Bai Ze so clever, while you look so dull and foolish? Are all members of your race like this when they're born?"
Donghuang Taiyi stroked his chin as he looked at Lu Wu, confusion filling his heart.
There was already a Bai Ze? I'm the second one? No, wait! How do I look foolish?! Lu Wu glared furiously at Donghuang Taiyi.
