Xiao Lingyue is the daughter of King Zhao, Xiao Yan, and Cheng Yuling. Among King Zhao's many children, Xiao He is her full elder brother, sharing the same mother. Neglected by their father and bullied during childhood, she was protected by Xiao He, who fought for her despite being injured himself; this formed the basis of their exceptionally close relationship. 97
