Feeney nodded in understanding. Even if Tony couldn't get it, that was fine. They could always figure out another way to trade with Nick Fury later.
"Remember, don't touch that thing with your bare hands. It's dangerous."
Feeney made sure to remind him again. The Obelisk was a deadly weapon to the people of Earth.
Tony acknowledged him and took note, then summed up what Feeney had told him:
"So, what I need to do now is find this S.H.I.E.L.D. guy, get my father's belongings from them, then follow the clues and create New Element?"
"Actually, it's not that complicated!"
Feeney thought hard for a moment, then said, "The design for New Element seems to be hidden in an architectural model. Did your father have any famous designs?"
"The 1974 Stark Industries Expo!"
Tony blurted out the answer. As it happened, he had recently been considering whether to hold another expo and leave something behind for the world.
"That's the one."
Feeney nodded, then continued, "Anyway, it's hidden in that model. You just have to filter out some things and turn it into the structure of a new element."
"Are you sure?"
Tony was doubtful. He remembered the model being stored in one of the company's storage rooms. A New Element was hidden in it!?
"Why don't you go check for yourself first?"
Feeney replied irritably. If it were really that easy, someone should have found it already. After all, discovering a new element from an architectural model was incredibly difficult.
Tony opened his mouth, but said nothing. The model was at the company anyway, so he'd go get it and study it carefully.
"Anyway, study it as soon as you can, then hurry up and build your New Armor!"
Feeney urged him on. He'd all but given up hope
