Bai Fu began as an NPC on Zu Yuan Star, initially operating around the Wildfire Gang with An Ya as her subordinate. After recognizing that player popularity could affect her future, she deliberately built a “white moonlight” persona: dyeing her hair white, staging rescues, and cultivating an image of a mysterious, generous benefactor 2.

Her public kindness was often calculated. She killed Brother Dabiao for experience and loot, then feigned injury and distributed his money to players to gain their goodwill 9. She continued to turn player support into practical power by assigning quests, buying materials from them, sharing rewards, and planning to steal profession books for them from the Wildfire Gang library 28.

Bai Fu’s conflict with The Truth Society and other Zu Yuan Star factions transformed her from a local NPC into the central figure of Silent Court. She survived Yulia’s control, defeated Yulia, triggered the Insect Tide storyline, and increasingly used player forces as both combat resources and a source of influence 34 39.
