Background
Hundreds of years before the main conflict, the Ghost civilization attempted to dominate the Initial Gate star cluster by unleashing a dimensional catastrophe during a civilization war. The plan failed, the Ghost civilization was hunted down, and its surviving fleet later became Mita. Operating from the shadows, Mita sought revenge and an eventual return to power. 186
Mita was organized into largely independent internal departments overseen in daily affairs by its head butler. Its Lord was exceptionally powerful but rarely appeared before even high-ranking members, leaving much of the organization’s leadership and agenda shrouded in secrecy. 186

Operations and Resources
- Hidden bases and fleets — Mita maintained covert facilities, including a secret fleet base near the Sea Lion Galaxy and a fleet of more than one hundred ships deployed to intercept Bai Fu and the Holy Congregation. 184
- Dissociative Potion mother strains — Mita cultivated mother strains through affiliated laboratories. Ulysses People were captured because a substance in their genes could promote a mother strain’s growth. 183
- Biological warfare — In cooperation with the Dark Domain Zerg Queen, Mita developed specialized parasites and later prepared infectious insects for a large-scale assault. 208 216 230
- Affiliated forces — Mita supported external organizations such as Singularity Company and the Stone Crystal Company, allowing it to operate through intermediaries. 160 187
- Propaganda and misinformation — Both Bai Fu and Mita’s head butler used sensational fabricated essays to shape public opinion and discredit their opponents. 185 203
- Superhuman assets — Mita fielded numerous S+-class operatives, disaster-level seeds such as Sesia, and a Cataclysm-class Lord. 174 203 210
Relationships
- Ghost civilization — Mita originated from the Ghost civilization’s surviving fleet after that civilization’s defeat. 186
- Dark Domain Zerg Queen — Secret partner of the Lord of Mita in the parasite project; their alliance became a central threat during Mita’s final campaign. 208 230 231
- Bai Fu — Primary enemy. Their escalating conflict triggered the Mita Exposed mission, which tasked Bai Fu with eliminating the organization. 186
- Sesia — Former operative whose defection exposed Mita bases, personnel, and internal plans to Bai Fu and her allies. 204 207 210
- Holy Congregation — Rival faction targeted because Mita believed it possessed the True Spirit Pillar. 184 231
- StarNet, Tide Civilization, Sky Eye Alliance, and Kaster Civilization — Alliance that intensified its campaign against Mita after its attacks and covert operations were exposed. 210 230
Story Role / Major Arcs
Emergence in the Star Sea
Mita was first exposed as the force backing Singularity Company. Its name was already feared across the Edge World because it possessed both a powerful fleet and disaster-level operatives. 160 174
The organization’s pursuit of the True Spirit Pillar brought it into direct conflict with Bai Fu, Elon, and the Holy Congregation. The head butler sacrificed the secrecy of a Sea Lion Galaxy fleet base to deploy a secret fleet under Foster and seize the pillar. 184
Mita Exposed
After Mita attacked Ulysses Star, Bai Fu published a fabricated exposé accusing the Lord of Mita of a relationship with the Dark Domain Zerg Queen and of secretly researching a mysterious living specimen. The article attracted interstellar attention, pressured Mita politically, and prompted the organization to hunt its anonymous author. 185 186
Bai Fu’s growing hostility with Mita unlocked the story mission Mita Exposed, whose stated objective was to eliminate Mita. The mission’s historical briefing revealed Mita’s Ghost-civilization origin and its revenge-driven agenda. 186
Golden Valley Star and Sesia’s Defection
Mita deployed Flood Disaster forces and a fleet to Golden Valley Star, intending to capture Bai Fu and investigate the seemingly endless Undying population. Foster’s forces were routed, while Mita’s personnel became increasingly convinced that Bai Fu was part of a far larger conspiracy. 203
During the operation, Sesia openly defected to Bai Fu, delivering Onandi as proof of her break with Mita. Her later intelligence enabled StarNet and allied civilizations to destroy six Mita bases. 204 210
Parasite Project and Final Defeat
Mita escalated its attacks by abducting more than 2,000 Undying, targeting Bai Fu’s allies, and using parasites to turn captives into concealed weapons. Its plan was to use infected Undying and Dark Domain Zerg forces for a rear assault against the alliance. 215 230 231
Bai Fu, Manu, and Mitchell identified the trap and reversed it. The Lord of Mita and the Dark Domain Zerg Queen’s clone entered the alliance’s prepared encirclement, where Bai Fu awakened to Calamity level and defeated the Lord of Mita. 231 232
With Mita’s headquarters located and its leadership broken, the alliance concluded its campaign. Bai Fu received major compensation and the Mita Exposed mission was settled with a Legendary evaluation. 233 234
