North of the rift cliffs where the Evil Eye Tower stood.
A vast army made up of countless insects covered the land like a swarm of locusts, advancing toward the Evil Eye Tower at tremendous speed.
After detecting the anomaly, Di Nian Evil Spirit decisively pulled back the Black Tide forces still rampaging through the Emperor's Tomb Mountain Range. It built towering walls of black mist around the Evil Eye Tower, ready to face the sudden attack.
On top of the tower, Di Nian Evil Spirit looked extremely grim.
From his perception, the bodies of the Insectoid warriors were made of translucent crystal. Under the Evil Moon, they shimmered in a kaleidoscope of colors. Three pairs of wings, thin as cicada wings, extended from either side of their backs, covered in energy runes. Their eyes looked like a pair of rubies and could change color according to their surroundings. Through their translucent bodies, one could see an organ in the middle of their torsos that beat like a heart. With each contraction, the runes on their bodies lit up.
Their lower bodies had four slender, jointed limbs. On either side of their toothed mouths grew a pair of upright mandibles shaped like scythes.
The swarm moved incredibly fast and was enormous in number. Every Insectoid warrior radiated a cold, murderous aura.
When they came into contact with the Terror Black Tide controlled by Di Nian Evil Spirit, the runes on their bodies lit up. They spat out long strands of energy, instantly slicing apart any Black Tide aberration they touched. The severed aberrations then merged back into the Black Tide.
The moment the Insect Tide and the Black Tide clashed, the battle turned ferocious.
Like two differently colored waves meeting, they collided in a bloody struggle.
